Round in circles with dealership/manufacturer refusal to make good on warranty on faulty 2024 Nissan Kicks feature. Both Lokey Nissan AND Nissan North America refuse to fix my problem claiming nothing can b make good on warranty on faulty 2024 Nissan Kicks feature. Both Lokey Nissan AND Nissan North America refuse to fix my problem claiming nothing can be done about it. The Apple Car Play feature has been malfunctioning (along with other features of our stereo from the day we drove it off the lot only 6 months and 3500 original miles ago. I most recently ended up talking to Christian West, assistant to Mr Lokey who was recently semi-retired, with Christian handling things in his absence. We complied with all their requests. First, a trip to the service dept to have the problem looked at. We were asked specifics by Chuck Schnitker about the phones we were using and whether we were using factory phone cables, which we were. After waiting an hour for diagnostics, I was told my car is ready, nothing was wrong and it was explained to me to use factory cables - all the things that Chuck previously verified we WERE doing. Basically, they had taken the car in and released it without doing anything, as if the conversation about the protocols hadn't happened. Later, when I contacted the Service Manager, Tom Devine, he intervened and put me back with Chuck promising me results. Chuck's willingness to help had not only reverted, but it was as if he had never had those conversations with me now saying how important it is that we get to the bottom of the issue and diagnosis was imperative. He next had us make a video of the problem to send to Nissan. He said "he needed to prove the actual problem to them and that, "Nissan isn't just going to replace a car stereo" (implying it was too expensive) He offered a loaner car for a couple of days and scheduled me to bring it in so they could assess it. Meanwhile, they ordered new ports as the problem included the USB hardware not working either. The car was brought in to install the new ports and to further assess. Chuck then asked if I would be waiting for the vehicle. I said I wouldn't and asked if he was still giving me the loaner. He said "Of course" and gave me a ’24 Nissan Titan as a loaner, one in which the Apple Car Play worked flawlessly. When I asked how many days, he said I'd be turning in the loaner at the end of the day, again as if his previous conversation had never happened about it taking several days. He told me that it would be absurd for them to keep the car for several days as if it were my idea and not his. I got the car back that day with new ports installed. I was also given Nissan versions of the USB cables (not factory Apple ones as were recommended by them) to "try out" and I was told a GPS tracker was removed as it "can create interference" with Car Play and other functions. [I was told they put GPS trackers in all their cars to "keep track of them when they are on the lot" for "service purposes"] Same day, same problem happened. Tom's willingness to help dwindled, saying "I have to check with my engineers on this" and "I'll need more time to research". Finally, a call was placed to Nissan North America to report the issue directly. After several calls with Nissan, I was (condescendingly by the rep AND her supervisor Nathaniel) refused repair as their sole yardstick is to check with the dealers and they were told no repairs were needed by Lokey Service. This is when I asked for Mr Lokey personally and was given Christian West who told me that this was not ok and PROMISED me they would make good on this. He said to give him until early next week. He gave me his extension and email and said to, please, call him anytime. That was a Friday. By the following Friday, I hadn’t heard and called. Left a message and emailed him. No word by even the following Wednesday, when I received an email from Tom saying there is nothing they could do (my email from Christian had been forwarded to him without Christian even answering me) and that perhaps I should try calling Nissan North America. And the loop begins anew. Enough Said. More

Chuck and Kevin have been my service advisors for all of my cars almost since I started having my cars done there in 1998. I have purchased cars there and had All of them only serviced at your location, eve my cars almost since I started having my cars done there in 1998. I have purchased cars there and had All of them only serviced at your location, even though I moved about an hour and a half to two hours away in Lakeland. As long as Chuck is still working there we will be customers for life. My Son took the Rogue with him on his contract job in North Carolina and he tried using the Nissan dealership up there but has been so badly treated he refuses to return. He is Spoiled by the Service we've received from lokey the past 26 years. Chuck is awesome, he really cares about his people and he Never tries to oversell anyone. He just explains what is needed or necessary and lets me make up my own mind. But I've always done what he has recommended for us. More

The service department is the best part of Lokey. I wish I could say the same about the sales department.
