F-150 99963 Km service - can not get socket on tire lug nuts, so we need to replace them at a fee of 1/2-1 hour + lug nuts. I would have agreed to have them changed. I would have changed them, however why would I want to pay for the extra time when they need to take them off to start with. when I got the truck home I took the nuts of and changed them with no problem and it only took me 5 minutes. - Told my transmission pan is leaking and if I wanted it serviced at a fee of twice the fee that I would be charged at a repeatable shop. this on top of I would have to pay for a new gasket. I am not sure what the policy is, but if you take the pan off you put a new gasket on. especially with the amount of miles on the vehicle. the vehicle has a 100k drive train warranty. I declined, as I felt like I was being nickle and dimed. - told there is a service advisory to replace the spark plug boots, and that it would cost me 150.00 to do so. I declined as this should be a warranty item. same thing nickle and dimed - a service some time back said my rotors were warped and it would cost me 750.00 for the front. I declined as the cost was way to high and I can do it myself. when I did the brakes the rotors were not warped, the calipers malfunctioned and only half the pad was hitting the rotor. More

Worst customer service i have ever experienced So this all started when I purchased what I thought were all season tires and had an appointment booked for Wednesday October 19th because I was told So this all started when I purchased what I thought were all season tires and had an appointment booked for Wednesday October 19th because I was told they would be there by the 18th. I called on the 18th and was told by the second person I talked to in parts (the first person said they would call me back and didn't) that they would for sure be there tomorrow (Wednesday) but as it was inconvenient for me to drop my car off I moved my appointment to Friday. On Friday Morning I receive a call from Service saying my tires weren't to arrive for 3-4 days ( I explained I was told that they were supposed to be there on the 19th) With the help from Brittany in service they were able to find me tires which would have been great and this review would have been positive except that although I had expressed I wanted All season tires more than once when I called I was quoted winter tires and these are what was put on my vehicle. What made this experience the worst experience and the reason I will never purchase another vehicle or go back to Northstar ford is that I always learnt in customer service that the customer is always right. However the way Northstar Ford does it is they have to prove you are right to even get so much as an apology and that is all you get. Being that this mix up was discovered at 4 pm on a Friday I was told they don't have anyone available or willing to switch my tires back to my old ones and I would have to wait till Monday! I could have a rental car but if they listen to recordings and find that it is my fault I would have to pay for said rental, I was offended by this and decided to go without a vehicle for the weekend and also because I had to somehow magically get to crowfoot from southland drive by train in less than an hour and I simply didn't make it. On Monday (the day I was told I would hear from them in the morning ) I didn't get a phone call until 1:30 rolled around and I decided to call 3 times and was treated rudely by the order desk being told that "its Monday and we are busy" as the reason why I still don't know the status of my vehicle. Finally at 2:30ish I heard from the manager of service who said that they would put my old tires back on and now leaving this in the hands of the manager of parts to deal with. The manager of parts called me shortly after who I will admit was nice to deal with, she admitted that I not only once but twice said in my call that I wanted All seasons and gave me a quote for 3 more types of tires 2 of which were more than the ones I had already paid for. Needless to say I didn't get anything for my inconvenience, being treated like a liar except for a small apology and now I have an appointment elsewhere to purchase the tires I wanted in the first place. More

Great, timely service as usual !! Regular service was done quickly. Also got tires swapped, broken lite fixed and Auto Detail done by 5pm. Excellent Staff all around From the moment I first bought my 2013 Ford Focus in 2014, I knew I would only deal with NorthStar Ford weather I bought another used car or new one. From the moment I first bought my 2013 Ford Focus in 2014, I knew I would only deal with NorthStar Ford weather I bought another used car or new one. I wound up buying a 2016 Ford focus and everyone was amazing. And then taking it in for my 6 month service tune up, the staff in the service part were pleasant and cheerful, even at 7am in the morning. They are the best, as is the staff in the Used car lot and New cars area. Awesome people. More

Paid for service I did not get and told I did. Drove to Northstar Calgary Saturday morning, thinking it was first come/first serve, found out from a very accommodating Brittany that it was not, and Drove to Northstar Calgary Saturday morning, thinking it was first come/first serve, found out from a very accommodating Brittany that it was not, and managed to squeeze my 8000km service in. Left my truck. I was called to pick it up, and when I came in to pick it up, Asst Service Mgr (can't remember his name) went over service invoice with me, item by item, all good, went outside to inspect my truck, to see they did NOT rotate my tires. Went back in, explained situation to ASM and he explained to me, if there is no significant tire wear, they occasionally do not rotate. I guess I would ask, then why did the service tech not put N/R instead of checking off tire rotation as being done? I feel taken advantage of, I have full maintenance package, and question what I paid for, and really question what was and wasn't done on the whole service? I did notice after my second visit back to get tires rotated, that my Oil Life was also not reset. I called and left message with Service Mgr whom called me back and got me back in on Wed 11am and got my tires changed over. More
