Basil was born in New Delhi, India and has lived in Kenya and Uganda throughout his life. His grandfather was a doctor and his father retired an aeronautical engineer. Basil himself is the widowed father of two wonderful twin sons, Ryan and Neil. Basil enjoys working in the auto industry as he believes the sky is the limit; he has recently sold some cars on-line to customers which he found a very interesting experience. Being candid, truthful and sincere are characteristics Basil feels makes a strong salesperson, all three of which he demonstrates. Although Basil is a peaceful and calm man, don't think that he hasn't had some wild encounters. Basil has come face to face on three separate occasions when he was in east Africa, with a lion, an elephant and a hippo! He also survived an armed carjacking in Nairobi!

Best Fit Sales People I recently leased a car from Budd's Chevrolet Cadillac Buick GMC. I started with a Carcost Canada search. I was contacted Michelle, a very polite and I recently leased a car from Budd's Chevrolet Cadillac Buick GMC. I started with a Carcost Canada search. I was contacted Michelle, a very polite and engaging sales manager. Basil Silas, my sales representative, made me feel comfortable and welcome as he directed me to the car of my interest. Unfortunately that car did suit my needs so we went through a few more. Eventually, I was asked if I had ever considered getting into a Cadillac. I said no as I assumed it was a vehicle out of my grasp. Strangely enough, we found a Cadillac ATS, 2.0L Turbo, AWD that happened to be on promotion and well within my budget. Thanks to Silas, Craig, Paula and Michelle for helping me. More

Great price and service Budds offered an amazing lease offer on.a Cadillac that no other dealer could match. For me to take advantage of an additional incentive, I had to sign the papers by July 31 but I was in Chicago. Basil came in on his day off to email.me everything and wait for me to fax everything back. The experience was terrific. More

Great experience! Basil was very helpful with the entire leasing process. His customer service, dedication and passion for his career goes beyond words, it was an spectacular experience. Basil along with Paula made this a smooth and trouble free purchase. They are never too busy or too anything to answer your calls and guide you step by step. Before anyone decides to change or purchase a new vehicle i recommend budds, but specially basil silas. Now i am happy and enjoying my new 2015 terrain. If i could choose more than 5 stars it would be 200 star rating. Thank you for making this a pleasant and unforgettable experience. More
