New vehicle purchase from Carlton Honda - DJ
We recently purchased a new vehicle from Carlton Honda in Prince Albert. The salesman Jeremy McKay was great to deal with. Very respectful, polite, and professional. He was knowledgeable and not pushy. The trade in value of my old car was also very fair. I felt the deal was great until I dealt with the finance manager, Rick Scott. There was more twists and turns and hidden costs in the contract than I could have even imagined. There was also inflated interest rates. He tried to rush me through the contract so I would sign it. I had to slow the process down and question him on every additional cost and fee.. Eventually he removed the fees and brought the interest rate down to what I had been told it was earlier. At the end of the meeting he threw the salesman under the bus by telling me it was the worst deal he has seen in his 20 years of doing this. I left there with a bad taste in my mouth for the dealership and wondering if I will be taken advantage of every time I have to return for service work. I hope this is not the case.

Highly recommended. We purchased a low km used suv. Ken was honest and the sale was a simple transaction. They stand behind what’s on there lot. 2 issues came up. Blower motor was on its way out and a oil leak developed shortly after purchase. They had it towed and covered the repairs. No questions. Great sales and service. We are 200km plus away. And we will be buying our next suv from them again. Thanks Ken, keagen, Jason. Truly a stand up dealer

I intended to buy a new vehicle which was not in stock from this dealership. I paid the deposit on the evening of Saturday. The dealership did not provide any copy of the documents that I signed, neither was an agreement about the deposit and its return was provided. On Monday morning, when the finance guy called to let me know that my credit has been approved and that my order would be processed, I informed him that I am cancelling my order because of financial constraint. At that time the dealership has not yet processed the order since my credit has just been approved, but the dealership refused to return the deposit that was paid. The sales representative James Koroll even tried to force the sale. These guys are bullies and unethical. I will file a complaint against them with the Financial and Consumer Affairs Authority.
