Women, avoid Ray in Sales unless you want to hear about trim instead of performance or to be called “dear” instead of your name. Buying car with this dealership was a pleasure, but everything else is awful. I do NOT recommend to have any relationship with the West End Hyundai and its service. You can buy a nice car here, they ar everything else is awful. I do NOT recommend to have any relationship with the West End Hyundai and its service. You can buy a nice car here, they are not trying to hide any problems. But once you bought it, they don't know your name anymore. You can call them, but they'll keep you ignored until you give up on reaching out to them. So if you are not planning to come back to this place after your purchase - go ahead. Otherwise, avoid this place. They said that it's a family business, but they don't want you to be a part of it. More
you don't want to buy a car from this group. they are dishonest. they have done damage to my car which they refuse to take responsibility for. My headlight was damaged when returning to fix the they are dishonest. they have done damage to my car which they refuse to take responsibility for. My headlight was damaged when returning to fix the 8th error for my 3M, my windshield was damaged at pick up and I was never replied to after emails to them, the navigation isn't workjng properly because they don't know how to do a predelivery inspection, I had missing plastic snaps in the engine bay, my N2 tires were over inflated and they didn't want to drain the air out from the over inflation and fill it proper again with n2, I was given the car dirty when I bought it new and they told me it is not their policy to clean cars before a purchase. After reading many of the other posts from ripped off customers it is obvious this group doesn't care about the people they sell their cars to and they shouldn't be able to run a business in Alberta. They are thieves. you will most likely have problems dealing with them. More
Now this takes the 🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬 cake. Went to look at a car for my son. Went for a drive was a nice AWD car. After the drive the salesman at HYUNDAI ON 178 street and 101ave came up to me Went to look at a car for my son. Went for a drive was a nice AWD car. After the drive the salesman at HYUNDAI ON 178 street and 101ave came up to me and asked for the keys. I have someone else wants to take it for a ride. I said well we aren’t done dealing with you. Unless you want to buy it right now, I’m letting him take it. When he was out on the drive, the salesman was hiding, 1 min after the other guy showed up, he came sat with us. Gave me list price, I said NO we are negotiating now, stood up walk to the manager then went and sat with the other couple and said, sold they paid the asking price. VERY VERY UNPROFESSIONAL. Then had the xxxxx to say, if I can sell you a car in the future, keep me in mind after being that unprofessional like I give you the time of day to sell me another vehicle. I am going to Amvic to report the unprofessional this company is. I said you got to be joking. Plus the manager was hiding the whole time, what a jam tart. IM SO F@&@ MAD RIGHT NOW, THEY JUST BRUSHED ME OFF. More
Buying a car these days is not as fun as it used to be due to the long waiting period and uncertainty in final price. These guys gave me the exact deal, and a little bit more, that we agreed upon when we due to the long waiting period and uncertainty in final price. Norbert is the best, no pressure, salesman I've ever dealt with and very knowledgeable about the product. More

Updated my review and rating December 1st 2022. Went in to sign the paperwork today and everything went smooth. Financing went through everything with me. The owner also stopped by to apologize Went in to sign the paperwork today and everything went smooth. Financing went through everything with me. The owner also stopped by to apologize for the issues. I am satisfied that the we both took on risk with the rebate and split the hold. I have not been a recipient of a prior rebate so I know they will get their money. Update November 30th 2022. Agreed in writing to let them hold $2500 until the government rebates them back. As explained to me by Transport Canada, The IZEV program can reject rebates if the customer has had a rebate within the same calendar year. The dealer will make you sign a form called "Incentive Received Form For Individuals for the iZEV Program" It states that "I will not seek to receive more than one incentive under the iZEV Program in any calendar year". So it would appear that people are getting multiple rebates and dealers are possibly getting stiffed and/or becoming a collection agency. So I can understand their concern, but to be honest, that's not my problem. The car is advertised at Hyundai Canada with the rebate and no stipulations. Maybe Transport Canada can come up with a way for the dealers to check if someone has received the rebates... Service was the main reason this is a 3 Star and not a 1 star, as Mo was great to deal with. Original review: The dealer received my reservation for Hyundai Ioniq 5 that I have been waiting over a year for. When I went into the dealership and spoke with financing. I was told me that they were waiting on an answer from the dealerships owner in regards to the 5K Federal Government EV rebate. According to them, the dealership has been having issues collecting the money back from the government with some of the rebates being denied and them being left on the hook for up to 5K. They gave no specific info on which EV's were denied. One of the reasoning they gave me was that the 2023 model that I am getting is more expensive than the 2022 I ordered. I pointed out that the iZEV program was updated and that the car does qualify and even Hyundai Canada shows the full rebate available. As a work around, They proposed that they would give me the rebate if I take 5K of my deposit and give it to them to hold until they get their money from the government, or they will keep it if they get denied. They told me it can take them months to get the rebates if approved and I would have to let the vehicle sit if the owner says no and I refuse to let them hold onto my 5k. Two emails and a phone call within three weeks not returned by my salesperson. More
My car went in because it the check engine was flashing and when looked at by a mechanic said to be an issue this car had and there was a recall on the engine. I was advised to call the dealership. Called and when looked at by a mechanic said to be an issue this car had and there was a recall on the engine. I was advised to call the dealership. Called the dealership was told it is not safe to be on the road and to bring it in the adisor i had was no longer with west edmonton hyundai after that day it was handed over to Mohammad. He said he drove it for 2 days and there is nithing wrong with it. I took it home and from drop off until pick up he drove it 9 kms so that is what around the block a couple times? A week later the care coded again and engine light flashing i took it back. I was told that the claim had been made the firatvtime and now that it was doing it again it would be quicker. This was not the case. When i called for an update Moe said it was not the recall and that the cost would be 1449 to fix it. I asked if it would for sure fix it and he 100% this is the issue we told them to go ahead. I took my car home and it was driving worse then when i had dropped it off and we googled it and found that if they had disconnected my battery it may need to relearn a bit so we waited not even a week and the car coded again and flashing light again so on Sept 1 I dropped it off at the dealership I received a call from Mohammad on saturday sept. 3rd saying that they were putting in a claim for the new engine on tuesday. So tjis seemed to be a good response but no the story dont end there as here we are 3 weeks later and the car has had nothing done done tobit but apparently running tests. I have not heard a word from the dealership since Sept. 3rd i do not loke calling them because they have been nothing but rude when i do including hanging up on me which Justin tried to explain away. I felt like I was being treated undairly and poorly i asked my husband to contact them and he got one more test then one more test then we are running the test tomorrow. I feel like they are looking for any reason to not fix my car and give me a straight answer. Justin being a manager of the service department even at one point said he was tking over for Mohammad but he never communicated either. Not my first hyundai but it will be my last. I would never recommend this service deprtment. I wish i had taken my car elsewhere i only kept taking it back here because they knew the history and it should have been easy and quick to diagnose being they already knew what the problem was. More
