The funny pa HORROR STORY 1: My wife took the car in for an oil change and was told that she needed to replace all 4 tires because tread wear was low. The funny part is that we had new tire put on 3 days prior to taking the car in. HORROR STORY 2: Took the car in to repair a chip. They had us replace the entire windshield. During the process, they didn't properly adhere the rearview mirror to the glass. When it fell off they repaired it, but sloshed glue all around the mirror. It still fell off. The dealership then ran into problems with their sub-contractor and advised us to deal with the sub-contractor directly. We've dealt with them 2 more times. After the mirror started falling off a 5th time the dealership patched it—again—doing an exceptionally poor job. They even broke the wire cover (and hoped we wouldn't notice). The mirror is now falling off again and components are starting to break. We're still waiting to hear back from VW Canada. ADVICE: PLEASE, PLEASE, buy and service your Volkswagen from another dealership! More
