After having my new 26 CRV hybrid for 3 weeks, my experience with the car has been disappointing. After picking up my car, I later noticed the gap between the fender and hood on the left side was big experience with the car has been disappointing. After picking up my car, I later noticed the gap between the fender and hood on the left side was bigger than the right. Also, when the front windows (both left and right) are not fully closed or open, there was a window rattling noise when closing the door. I took the car back to the dealer and they adjusted the hood which helped improve the gap on both sides but not perfect as it also narrowed a gap in other hood/fender location. Regarding the window noise, they replaced the regulator of one door and I was told on the phone that the noise was improved. I picked up the car and found out the noise was still there and NO improvement. I had been to the service many times to address the car issues during the last 3 weeks and tested the front door of two different CRVs. One had rattling noise and the other did not. A service advisor told me the noise was not a defect and accepted by Honda and gave me a long story to justify the noise. I also noticed that most of the new CRVs in the dealer lots did not have the hood misalignment problem. It does not matter whether the problems I have are defects or result of a poor quality control because there is NO guarantee for what you paid and get from the dealer. It is about luck of the draw! I believe Honda Canada or Village Honda should compensate for my time and stressful experience. This is my third Honda and the car problems took me by surprise. I hope my review will be helpful to other buyers when they collect their new cars. More
My Experience with Village Honda I purchased a 2013 F-150 here for $13,900. The AMVIC and fitness reports claimed the truck was all good, but even during the test drive with their salesman, we both not F-150 here for $13,900. The AMVIC and fitness reports claimed the truck was all good, but even during the test drive with their salesman, we both noticed a shudder—like the truck was trying to dance to the wrong rhythm. It turns out it’s the torque converter. I asked them to meet me halfway on the repair cost. After all, we both noticed the issue before the sale, and I’m not asking for a free ride. But their response? Cold as a January morning in Alberta. They refused any help. After spending that kind of money, I expected at least a cooperative chat. Instead, I got the silent treatment and a door slam. I wouldn’t recommend them if you value after-sale support. They sold me a truck with a known issue and left me stranded in the repair lane alone. Visited with a confirmed test drive appointment for a new 2026 Civic Si. Was refused a test drive on the new unit and offered a used one instead. Took my $40,000 cash purchase to another Honda dealer who had 2026 Civic Si. Was refused a test drive on the new unit and offered a used one instead. Took my $40,000 cash purchase to another Honda dealer who had no problem letting me drive before I bought. Would not recommend. More
Very poor overview of vehicle features has left me frustrated with my new CRV. The person who was supposed to show me how things worked was new, rushed through it and missed so much. The online traini frustrated with my new CRV. The person who was supposed to show me how things worked was new, rushed through it and missed so much. The online training is nice looking, but has no depth making it useless. I have had to resort to trial and error and ChatGPT to figure out how to use it. I have huge buyers remorse with the vehicle and really miss my ford escape. In addition, the vehicle beeps at me and won’t lock when I exit. Service just shrugged. I am regretting ever buying from this dealership. More
Absolutely the worst service experience I’ve ever had. Avoid Village Honda. I purchased a 2025 Honda CR-V Touring from Village Honda in April 2025 for $60,546 CAD. I also added the CERAMX GLASS 7-year Avoid Village Honda. I purchased a 2025 Honda CR-V Touring from Village Honda in April 2025 for $60,546 CAD. I also added the CERAMX GLASS 7-year protection plan from Coverall. Village Honda charged me $2,500 CAD, yet only provided a receipt for $1,600 CAD—which I later confirmed is the actual price of the plan directly with Coverall. In December, I brought my vehicle in for a windshield replacement. Without my knowledge or consent, Village Honda outsourced the job to a third-party shop called “Glass Masters.” This was never disclosed beforehand. If I wanted a third-party repair shop, I wouldn’t have gone to a dealership. On December 2nd, I was told the vehicle needed an extra day due to an issue with the windshield. When I received the car, there was noticeable wind noise coming from the driver’s side. I returned the vehicle on December 4th, but after getting it back, the same wind noise persisted. When I raised the concern again, I was told the noise was “normal.” This explanation is unacceptable for a brand new car which i drove for around 30,000 km that had no such issue prior to the windshield replacement. I returned the vehicle again on January 5th and was told—once more—that an additional day was required due to windshield issues. I finally received the car back on January 8th. While the original wind noise is now gone, new noises have appeared from a different area, and to make matters worse, the automatic headlights no longer work. So after multiple visits, I now have new problems that didn’t exist before. To top it off, management does not respond to emails at all. I tried. Don’t bother. Village Honda shows no transparency, no quality control, and no respect for customers. If you value your time, money, or vehicle, take your business elsewhere More

We were greeted warmly, and understanding that we w from Village Honda. It has been a wonderful experience since we first walked into the dealership. We were greeted warmly, and understanding that we were more fluent in Spanish, they assigned Diana Carreño as our sales agent. She guided us through the entire purchase process, from the initial consultation to the delivery of the vehicle. She was always very kind and helpful in finding the car that truly met our dreams and needs. Her professionalism and ethical conduct during our first visit gave us the confidence to choose Village Honda over other options. Tina Alamag, the financial services representative, was always very professional, ethical, and friendly. She was also very clear, allowing us to understand all the financial details and warranties related to the purchase. Zahid Chaudhry, the delivery coordinator, was very professional, ethical, and provided excellent explanations of how the HRV Sport works. He was also very kind to us. In conclusion, we can say that we were welcomed by the entire staff at Village Honda. We always felt in an environment of respect, cooperation, friendliness, professionalism, and ethics that we had never experienced at any other dealership in Calgary. We 100% recommend a Village Honda. More
When you dont buy their extended warranty and protection packages for $6000 that gets added on to the price of the car plus gst at 10% finance rate, they become your enemies. No care that this adds 30% mor packages for $6000 that gets added on to the price of the car plus gst at 10% finance rate, they become your enemies. No care that this adds 30% more to the price of the car. No care that car was $26000. We agreed on all in pricing, which was changed by $160 because we said no to warranty, they just charged us extra for "bank admin fee". Car had issues after and they wanted $180/hr for diagnostics. Until I mentioned amvic inspection had expired. Then they agreed to fix problems. After purchasing this car, we have been to this dealership 4 to 5 times to get issues fixed. No respect for our time. Micheal and Ruiz, your customer service and maintenance department treat customers very poorly. Should have never come back and give you a second chance. U just see customers as dollar signs the moment they come in. Such a hassle and frustrating experience buying a car here More
