Very frustrated with the service at this dealership - Trillium Ford in Alliston. Having come from a different dealership with excellent customer service, this has been a disappointment. I want to support our local businesses, but this place needs a refresh in how to treat customers. Ernie Dean Chevy dealership treated us very well and when things went wrong with our vehicle, they were able to make it as painless as possible at a time when you are already stressed out. This Ford dealership has unfortunately had us in five times in the five months we have owned this brand new truck, and every single time we go in the service staff treat us like we are the problem. A little empathy and friendly customer service would go a long way towards making frustrating visits easier to handle. Regardless of our opinion of the F150 itself (very poor in case you are wondering), the service of the dealership could and should be much better experience. I regret having purchased my vehicle here. I have twice asked to speak with a manager. Once I was able to, and he was decent enough, but my problems remain unaddressed. Last time I asked to speak with a manager I was told they are busy in a meeting and that she's already offered me what they can do to help (which was inadequate given this is a 5 month old vehicle that was nearly $100k). I can not and will not recommend this dealership. More
We purchased a Ford Edge from the Trillium Ford -Mono location and purchased extended warranty from them as well. The sales side was very good with amazing sales and post sale follow up to be fair. I called as the vehicle was shifting heavily upon acceleration and they suggested that it could be the tires as we had just shifted to winter tires. To be honest I am fairly mechanically inclined and my son in law is a mechanic and I was sure that the front end has something that required attention. I called and left messages 5 other times with no call back at all and surprise, we are now over the kilometer warranty limit. I suggested that our owner call Trillium after explaining the situation and he called the Alliston location and was told that we were over the km warranty limited (LOL) and they would call us back to see what they could do. Guess what? Number 6 call with no call back. The vehicle was pulling so erratically that additional brake wear was starting to happen. We called Barrie Ford and with their assistance had the car repaired with a 50% cost of repair incurred to us (which we were thankful for Barrie Ford's participation) As of the time of this review, no call from either Trillium location. Sales person amazing! Service staff at both locations, the worst I have ever experienced and thankfully not only me. If I could rate them a ZERO I would. Dear Ford of Canada, please reward good dealers and address poor ones. This is unacceptable service levels and follow ups. More
I was not pleased with there service, and customer service. They screwed up my morning, I lost wages, and I left without service performed on vehicle. I will never go back. Can I rate less ... I wish I could- I’ve had my vehicle serviced here since purchase.. I’m patient and easy going, xxxx they forgot me and my car 1x when I was in for an oil change and I sat there for just serviced here since purchase.. I’m patient and easy going, xxxx they forgot me and my car 1x when I was in for an oil change and I sat there for just shy of 2.5 hrs - did I complain , nope, just smiled and said thanks. However, after this experience - nope! I’ve been in 3x for same issue (Intermittent stalling while auto stop-start feature was engaged) Twice this issue has almost caused me to be rear ended. “Sorry there is no code and could not replicate - really it’s only happened 5 times since you’ve owned it ... ” This is Not the answer I was looking for but ok, I pick up my car and head straight home ... the next day, same issue, except now it will not start at all. Now I’m stuck on side of a road because it will not start, with my kid that I was picking up and wasted 3 hrs of my day and I was severely late returning back to my home office. I had to get it towed back to the dealership to have them look at it and repair ( on a good note, at least this time they couldn’t say ... “sorry couldn’t replicate” because it was totally disabled. Will I ever go back - NO, as I am not confident in the service/repair dept and the Customer care (yeah Madeline, I think that was your name, you are lacking some skills, hey you could have had a bad day too, but I have to tell you - when your team screws up, a snippet attitude is not what is needed. I drive in from Barrie to use this dealership. I just bought my second truck with Adam and it was the easiest car buying experience I’ve ever had.
