Sun Toyota USED to be awesome. The service advisors new my name and remembered me each visit. Since Wheaton took over it feels like the domestic vehicle dealerships I used to deal with. Too busy. I call my name and remembered me each visit. Since Wheaton took over it feels like the domestic vehicle dealerships I used to deal with. Too busy. I call and wait and wait and wait for a service advisor to free up to take an appointment. I realize you have to make a profit but is too busy for this little dealership good for customer service? Everyone seemed over worked. I have seen an instance when someone was stressed and slammed the phone down and gave a colleague a evil look. All this instills very little confidence. It is now just like everyone else. Is that what you really wanted? unfortunately people will keep going back because of its location on whyte. I will try to find other places in the area. More

I brought my car in for an oil change and winter tire switch over. I've been going to Sun Toyota for service for 7 years now. Every one is always friendly and helpful. Only thing that was disappointing, I was told that because of new management I would no longer be offered my lifetime free oil-changes.. :o( I may have to shop around now or use coupons, 45 dollars seems expensive for an oil change. Scott is a great addition to the Sun Toyota Service team. He actually listens to a customer's concerns, and in turn comes up with a suitable solution to resolve whatever the issue is. I purchased my vehicle from Sun Toyota in late 2009, and brought it there for all of it's service. Over the years I had become frustrated with their quality of service (or lack their of) and was about to take my vehicle elsewhere. That is when The Wheaton group purchased Sun Toyota, and Scott came in as the Service Manager. Rather than just sit in his office behind a closed door, he was actually around the Service desk where I was expressing my concerns about some issues that the Service Writer had been brought to my attention regarding previous maintenance. He overheard what was going on and came to address the situation. He not only resolved the current issue at hand, but also a previous major issue that I was unable to have resolved with two prior Service Managers at that same dealership, as well as Toyota Canada themselves. In my opinion Sun Toyota's Service Department has improved by leaps and bounds, and are well on their way to providing superior customer service. I really appreciate the fact that the Service Manager takes the time to say hello and talk to me as a customer each time that I have been into the dealership. I have gone from asking everybody I know with a Toyota about whether they like their Service Department, to now strongly recommending they try mine! More
