The extra charge of $ 10 for legal costs when I bought a car The only complaint I have is with the LEGAL charge of $ 10 on the bill of sale in the right top corner of the document. The used car mgr explained th The only complaint I have is with the LEGAL charge of $ 10 on the bill of sale in the right top corner of the document. The used car mgr explained that this is a charge to cover the cost of any legal costs involving the dealership in relation to a legal action resulting from a customer complaint. To me that is not logical,afterall why did I have to pay $ 10 to that dealership to minimize his cost of doing business ? I therefore look forward to being reimbursed for the $10 that I was charged .
