The sales person I had contact with was Damion Riley, who along with his colleagues, "went above and beyond" my expectations to find the vehicle I wanted. Their efforts were successful and they did something that no dealer in the Toronto area was interested in doing. The sales process with Damion was smooth and comfortable and had none of the stress and mental exhaustion normally associated with the purchase of a vehicle. The prices quoted for the new vehicle and my trade-in were fair and reasonable. As I live in Whitby, a two hour drive from the dealership, the complete process was a good investment of my time. He makes connections easily which helps when dealing with a variety of customers needs and I never felt like I was on my own which I have felt at previous dealers. Keep referencing the prices on the website as to where I could get a quote. I was hoping she would walk me through the financing options but again you can just look at the website. Booked an appointment in Goderich that afternoon, had a great sales person and made the purchase that day. In addition, in order to test drive the SVU I first had to go to the gas station and put in $20. Yes they covered it but this is not something the customer should be asked to do so the sales rep can stay at the dealership in case another potential customer comes in. Will not be making a purchase from this dealership. More

My Strickland Experience My wife wanted a 2017 Tacoma but we decided to check out the 2016's. My wife researched the truck on numerous websites, and we came across Stricklands. I called at 5:30 Pm and spoke to Bob. Bob said to us that if we drove the 3 hours return trip from Burlington to Stratford that we would get at least $2000.00 off that day. We jumped into the car and off we went with the intention of buying a new truck - cash. We were told all the Tacoma's on the lot were priced at $39000.00 After we test drove the truck Bob informed us that we would not be getting the $2000.00 off as previously stated- as the trucks were already marked down. By the time he was finished - the truck was over $46000.00 as we asked for running boards to be installed. Bob refused to budge on the price and said he had to speak to his manager when I tried to negotiate. He disappeared for a few minutes and returned saying that the manager said the price is non-negotiable. I asked to speak directly to the manager and was told that he wouldn't do that. It was at this point we decided to leave. The next morning - Bob called me and I told him that I am a "woman of my word" and I expect people to treat me the same way. This man has no integrity, and told me - "Good luck finding that truck anywhere else- as there are only 5 in Ontario- and his dealership has 4. A few hours later- Tony emailed my wife - trying to sell the truck at $42,843.00. I emailed him back and said that there was no way we would ever do business with a company like that. We would take our business elsewhere. And for the record- we took our business to Brantford Toyota where we bought a 2017 -spec'd the way we wanted- for less than Strickland. We were also treated with respect and felt good coming out of there. We are now awaiting the arrival of our beautiful new truck - the first week of September. So Strickland-thanks for wasting 3 hours of our lives.If you want to buy a vehicle- I would highly recommend Brantford Toyota- where we dealt with Chris directly (the manager) and Eric the sales rep. Also a shout out to Drew- you guys are all awesome. More

The car is used, it is what it is....if you want to see it I need a deposit to bring it back from the auction ...of course non refundable. I would have said Okay for the deposit, but its non refundable and he did not even consider reducing the price, which by the way a simple internet search reveals 5 000 or over asking (similar milage and options). Educate yourselves, its easy, do a simple internet search and dont try to pressure customers with bs. More

This week we signed our second lease on a brand new rav 4 with Damion. He was a huge help; he took the time to find out what we wanted and what was importand to us as well as taking time to answer all our questions. He worked with us to find the prefect vehicle/trim and package for our life. No pressure, at all.
