I found the listing on Autotrader and though the purchase was for a Subaru, not their main vehicle type, Hasan was very knowledgeable about the car. As I don't live in Ottawa I was a bit leary of purchasing a vehicle remotely but Hasan made the experience very easy and was very prompt at answering all of my questions. When I arrived in Ottawa to pick up my new car the transition was seamless. They had everything ready to go and I was able to drive back to Kingston that same day. More
Southbank cared about me. I find buying a brand new car today very stressful because they are so expensive. Getting a good deal is all about the math, and getting it right can I find buying a brand new car today very stressful because they are so expensive. Getting a good deal is all about the math, and getting it right can save one thousands of dollars. Southbank and Brian Valta were very professional in the negotiation process. It was all about the math for them as well, and they didn't use pressure tactics to throw you off course. As long as everyone understood the math, and we did, it was easy. But Southbank went the extra mile. Even with all the preparation I did before walking into the dealership, the pressure of making decisions worth tens of thousands of dollars got to me, and I made a mistake. I ended up choosing a car that I was unhappy with the next day. I contacted Southbank the very next morning, and they allowed me to change the deal to a completely different vehicle with no questions asked. They gave me the same math on the new deal and they worked with me until I had the vehicle I really wanted. Working with someone that cares about you as much as their profit is truly an outstanding experience. Thank you Soutbank and Brian. More

If you plan to spend your hard earned money here, READ THIS This is my experience spending 80+k at Southbank on a new Jeep. If you plan to spend your hard earned money here, READ THIS BEFORE. Everything was This is my experience spending 80+k at Southbank on a new Jeep. If you plan to spend your hard earned money here, READ THIS BEFORE. Everything was good until post sales service and I'll list out what happened. - Emailed Decio Menezes (Sales Manager that I dealt with to buy the Jeep) 3 times during March 20th to April 24th... he replied once (first email). - Emailed Rami Alzabri (Financial Services Manager) about oil package and he quoted me a higher price than a week before. He said the oil prices went up that week lol! I asked him what he could do... no reply. - Messaged Dave (GM) to contact me and left my name and number... no call. - April 17th they called and told me they had my VIN and it will arrive mid-May. They said they would email the VIN... no email. - May 16th called Rami Alzabri about where my Jeep was. I was told it would be mid-June! I told him you guys told me mid-May and he was going to get Decio to look into it and call me back. No call back from Decio. - ~Week after this, my wife called Decio since I was in no mood. He mentions that the production plant is to blame and they had no control. Decio mentions he will know exactly when the Jeep will be at the dealership once it hits the Montreal crossing and let us know. Decio tells my wife that he never responded to my other communications because he has nothing to report. Decio did mention he was going to compensate for the delay but nothing came out of that. - June 11th Brandon called and Jeep was in. Decio never called to give me a heads up of when it was arriving as he said. - June 14th go in to pick up Jeep and meet with Ala AlQasem (Business Manager) and I told him the crap service they have and he apologized and he said he will "make things right" since I had a horrible experience. He told my wife and me that he would give us the oil package for $1. Perfect! The catch is that I have to finance the Jeep for 6 months (I was purchasing it outright) with a bank so they can get a kick back for ~$3500. I didn't care and said sure since he ensured me that he will deduct the bank fees from what I owed them to get the Jeep. Al does all the paper work and I'm about to sign and I start questioning two extra bank fees totaling ~$120. He goes ya those are other bank fees. Then I noticed the main bank fee for ~1500. So I question how am I paying $1 for an oil package if you just added on ~$1620 fees which is almost their normal price for the oil package. Al tells my wife and me that we don't understand and he's been doing this for over 10 years and the oil package is free! He goes on writing numbers down on a paper trying to explain this free oil package. At the end, I trap him with his own numbers and prove it is not free and I was paying essentially the oil package with the numbers spread out differently. He admitted it wasn't free and then starts to apologize and asking what he can do to make it up. I said give me the oil package for $1 as he said. Al can't do that! He was going to talk to Dave and "make things right". Huge waste of ~3 hours listening to Al's lies! - Few days after, Decio calls me and mentions all the managers met with Dave and they felt they did nothing wrong. The month delay to get the Jeep is still FCA fault and not theirs; they even tried to get the plant to call me to explain! Own up to the products you sell, you are the face of FCA! Decio mentions I should go ahead with my review so here it is. I should mention Brandon is a standup sales person. I was suppose to deal with Brandon but he was too busy hence Decio made the sale. Even though Brandon didn't make the sale, he still contacted me and ensured what I requested was done. Brandon should be in charge and teach the other guys about customer service. Do I regret buying from Southbank... for sure! I've had better service at a lemonade stand. I don't regret the Jeep though but I'll be going somewhere else for service. More
