My vehicle took over 3 weeks to be brought in from a destination I could have driven to in less than a full workday. The lack of communication about it was very frustrating and being lied to about why i destination I could have driven to in less than a full workday. Then I finally got my car and then next day I found a part had been broken at some time before I got it. I notified VW and they ordered the part for me. I got notification the part was available so I took my car in. I expected someone to come out and look at it and replace the part for me, but I was just handed a bag with the part. I took it out to the my car to look and found its the wrong part. I told them its the wrong part and it was insisted upon that it’s the right part. Still no one came out to my vehicle to look. I took my car and the wrong part home thinking maybe my husband will see something I don’t. Nope. It’s the wrong part. I texted my salesperson again and explained how we think it needs to be fixed (an inside panel needs to be removed) because the broken piece is a part of the larger moulding. Salesperson disagreed but I have yet to hear back from VW on my next steps. My next step is management. VW was happy to take my deposit and TWO CAR PAYMENTS before I even had my car, but they can’t respond when I have a small warranty issue. Not happy right now and my willingness to stay open-minded is dwindling quickly. More

Sale person was good to deal with, he was newer which I understood but the sales manager seemed rude and arrogant. My experiences with Sherwood Park Volkswagen is the opposite. They combine excellent customer service with very knowledgable advisors. While ID.4 owners at other dealerships appear to be challenged to have recalls completed, Sherwood Park Volkswagen has always been very efficient and proactive. More
