I have only bought from here once so can't really rate the service, etc. Just the sales person at this point. Anya was extremely helpful, patient and unobtrusive. When it came in she assured us this was great and we also thought that. She was right on with our needs and desires. In terms of patience we only talked now and then over email for months. I appreciate the no phone calls and basic discussion on needs only. Anya was fantastic to deal with in the end and helpful. I have nothing but great things to say regarding Anya. A pleasure to buy a car? What a novel idea and so fresh. She makes it that way. Hats off Anya and we will deal again I hope. More

Went over all the numbers that evening and realized it wasn't a good deal, the next day I expressed my concerns and Amit only dropped the WAY over priced vehicle by $1000. What a slap in my face! That's clearly not a good way to show that you really want to make a deal or sale. That was approx 5 months ago and the Truck still sits there... Losing money everyday, obviously there was no other person like he claimed or they realized the same thing I did, that it's over priced. Either way I don't appreciate being pressured nor do I like playing games. The experience has certainly made me look at going through another dealership should I choose a Toyota. More

I did not feel comfortable purchasing through this dealership so I decided to look elsewhere. I found a dealership which I felt was pretty upfront and both product advisor/sales manager were professional and had an up front approach. This product advisor kept in touch with me but never pressured me to purchase and knew I would contact him when I was ready. I decided to give Sherwood Toyota a second chance since I live in Sherwood Park. I had contact with Owen Black online and went to dealership in August to test drive the 2013 RAV4. Owen did have email contact with me to find out if I would consider Sherwood Toyota. I had received a price from the other dealership and they were offering a better price and including a remote start. Owen responded with a price which also included a remote start. I decided at the end of October I would purchase vehicle from Sherwood Toyota. Went 0n Sunday October 27,2013, to test drive again. When Owen pulled out the paperwork I mentioned once I signed deal I did not want Toyota to offer a lower interest rate in November. Owen faced turned red but said Toyota offered 0% financing on the 2012 to make room for the remodeled 2013 and it would be too early for an interest rate change since the 2013 was not unveiled till Feb, 2013. I initially dealt with Laetesha in the finance dept. She never went over the breakdown of the payment. She tried finance at 6 years minimum until I informed her I was not prepared to pay 3.99% interest when I could finance less years for less interest ( I did my homework online before so I knew what Toyota was offering). When she asked me when I wanted to pick up, she actually picked the day before I could answer which I thought was odd ( I ended up changing it to Wed Oct 30/13@6:30pm). After calculating the payment at home I contacted Owen by email to question the price of vehicle cause it was much higher. He responded and I went back the next day and spoke to Bill in finance. He was professional and went over everything with me. They had not included my deposit as a down payment. I did make some changes and then Bill said he would do paperwork so it would be done when I picked up vehicle Wednesday night. One thing I found out after was Bill did not give me the option to purchase my extended warranty at a later date. I know someone who has purchased 5 Toyota' vehicles from a different dealership in Edmonton and apparently you are suppose to offer this option to your customer. When I picked up vehicle Wednesday night I was happy with my overall experience except for the mix up in your finance dept. I found out about the 1% interest change cause I work across the street from another dealership. When I emailed Owen Black, he did not even respond for 1 week. When he did respond, I was told the dealerships are not aware of any changes until they come into "fruition" and I need to take this matter up with Toyota Canada. My experience with Toyota Canada was not much better. I spoke to a customer rep in the finance dept. whom did not even give me a response and quickly transferred me to the wrong dept. I spoke to Colin, I found him very arrogant and he questioned why I went through to him. First impression, was he was some type of executive whom really did not care about my issue, all he was worried about was sales. At the end of our conversation, he did apologize for his employees error in transferring me when she should have dealt with it. Am I a satisfied customer, definitely not. I should have gone with my first instinct of your dealership. I would have probably used the funds from extra interest to add something to my vehicle. I find it interesting since the sale was done I don't receive the same customer service. I recently sent an email to Owen Black informing him I am planning on servicing my vehicle at a different dealership. That was sent on December 28, 2013. I still have not received a response. Am I surprised, not really! Would I recommend your dealership to a friend. Definitely not. More

Having owned Toyotas since 1983 our major questions were Corolla or Camry and which dealer. We decided on a Camry and, after much research, Sherwood Park Toyota. To cut to the chase. We are very happy with our 2014 Camry and with Sherwood Park Toyota. We would recommend Sherwood Park Toyota to friends and family. We dealt with two sales people. Anya Dickerson and Nav Sandu. Our initial contact was with Anya via the dealer website and internet chat service. She communicated with me by phone and email, answered all my questions accurately and promptly. She asked for our requirements, found a car to match and gave us financing and payment information. At no time did Anya or Nav try to upsell us to more expensive models or options. Anya is very hard working and eager to provide excellent customer service, even after the sale, all of which is consistent with reviews here on dealerrater. When it came time to visit the dealership for a test drive I forgot to phone for an appointment Anya was extremely busy and so enlisted Nav Sandu to assist us. We had Nav running around for a number of hours arranging test drives (on a nasty -21 deg snowy day) in two different vehicles and then later back and forth getting information re prices for options or offers from his manager, Shawn Diakur. At no time did we feel any pressure to accept offers or to rush the deal through. Nav presented us with information, answered questions and did not pressure us into a hasty decision. Eventually we made a deal that I am happy with. The deal was consistent with the all inclusive figures Anya had provided (no nasty surprises) and represented a discount compared to those available at toyota.ca. As with Anya, Nav is very hard working and dedicated to excellent customer service even after the sale is completed. No task or request was too much trouble and I would recommend either of them. The next step was to arrange financing where we worked with Greg Bonar. He offered extended protection packages, which we declined and did not exert the pressure we have experienced at other dealers in past years. Next day we returned, on a really filthy night. Nav took our trade in, explained all the features of the new car and checked that all was at it should be in terms of requested options. We completed the financing with another gentleman whose name escapes me, sorry. The deal completed we drove off two happy customers. The dealership looks new. It is a spacious, clean facility with a good range of vehicles on display and everyone we met was friendly and helpful. All dealers start off being nice but right now I see no reason why that would change at Sherwood Park Toyota. In the past I have often said that car dealers will always screw you and the only question is by how much and did you enjoy it. Lower prices for things like document fees and PDI would be nice but by comparing costs I saw at toyota.ca and reports of horror stories at other car dealers I am happy with our deal and I did enjoy it.
