Every piece of the puzzle from my purchase (Kyle Alexander) to finance (Doug Trieu) [mostly] was seamless. Kyle and Doug made every effort to accommodate me as a customer and they were very professional at every step of the way. They stayed in constant communication with me nearly every day until I drove off the lot with my new vehicle. I've purchased many cars from many dealerships over the years, and these guys truly made for a unique experience thus far. I actually feel like I made some new friends beyond the business transaction. Service Department is bad I took my 2008 Veracruz in fro servicing as I have every 3000kms since new to the same dealer ship. They come back and tell me I have 10 grand worth o I took my 2008 Veracruz in fro servicing as I have every 3000kms since new to the same dealer ship. They come back and tell me I have 10 grand worth of maintenance to do. Talked with the sales manager to discuss this and how can they tell me I have this much maintenance to do especially since they have been servicing it since new. Declined the maintenance and took the vehicle to another auto repair place to have them check it out without telling them why I was there. Guess what nothing needed to be done. Showed they the service report from Sherwood Hyundai and they could not believe what Sherwood Hyundai said had to be done. Will never go back to Sherwood Hyundai. More

They did everything they could to accommodate us and answer every question. We purchased a Sonata and drove it home that night. In particular, Armin Scheewe took the time to answer all of our questions, and even spent 40 minutes playing with our children while we met with Doug Trieu to take care of the financing paperwork. Douglas McDade also was terrific with our children, making sure that they were enjoying the experience. Our children also had a great time in the play park located in the showroom. More

Worst car buying experience ever. A very good reason not to give car sales people your phone number. I was contacted by an Internet sales person that they had a certain vehicle for a A very good reason not to give car sales people your phone number. I was contacted by an Internet sales person that they had a certain vehicle for a certain price all in for the price range I was looking for , to come on down to the dealership. We went to look at the vehicle took it for a drive , the sales person then insist we take it home overnight. We come back the next day with a cheque from the bank to buy the vehicle , now being told we can't sell it to you for that price we need $2000 more than the agreed price, like really. This being told to myself by another sales manager, while the Internet sales manager sat in a corner cubical doing nothing, as well as making sure I got my $100 deposit to kill the deal. I did call the manager of the dealership. And told him what had happened , which I was then passed on to another manager for an explanation on why I did not get the vehicle as quoted. This dealership sounds like it has to many chiefs and not enough Indians , neither of them know what they are doing. Reading other reviews I see they have previous practice doing this. Buyer beware of sneaky sales tactics, they do not know how to treat customers, all they want is your money. Chalk it up to another bad experience at a sherwood park dealership buying a vehicle. More
