After headaches with West Hyundai, I said the heck with them and let’s try a different dealership.to call home. June 6, 2025 Sherwood park did a transmission flush, and oil change and brake check. Long story short, my oil filter was leaking causing over 2L of oil to drip on my undercarriage panel because they tighten the xxxx out of the out filter and the drain plug. How I know, is because I jacked it up before bring it to the dealership, taking photos and videos so they can lie about it wasn’t leaking nor tight. Also, they over filled my transmission fluid causing rough and harsh shifts. Now I’m in the running if it persists, in need of a new DCT. I did bring it in, and they were trying to charge me for their mistake, I told them absolutely not and that was corrected to no charge. However, still left with a $540 + part that they don’t want to fix. I talked to their service manager about the undercarriage that is covered in the oil and soiling in section where it’s now ripped. His words “ we aren’t going to cover that “ “ it’s just oil” So waiting to hear back from their GM of this dealership to see what’s going on, but all of this shouldn’t have happened. Simply and oil change and a transmission flush and both weren’t done properly leaving damage to my vehicle. Also filed a complaint to Hyundai Auto Canada on how “Peter” their service manager dis the damage. Just Rude, and didn’t want to take responsibility from his technicians mistake. More
