Terrible Service Department I purchased my vehicle from Sherwood Park Hyundai in 2014 and have had nothing but problems with one service advisor in particular, Kristan. She has p I purchased my vehicle from Sherwood Park Hyundai in 2014 and have had nothing but problems with one service advisor in particular, Kristan. She has previously tried to bully me into getting service done on my vehicle by threatening to “void my warranty” if I had not gotten certain services done. This particular visit I arrived at 7:30am (my appointment time) to receive some work done under warranty (A piece of the passenger side door panel and passenger side strut), when I arrived she was under the impression that I was getting an oil change, which I had just received two weeks prior. I explained to her what I should be getting done all under warranty. She then immediately changed her attitude. She told me that changing out a piece of a door panel and passenger side strut would take 7-8 hours, and it would not be a good idea if I waited at the dealership. I told her that I had no other option then to wait at the dealership, as I live in Edmonton and anyone that would have been able to pick me up was already working, and I would then have no way to work, or back to the dealership to pick up my car. She then raised her voice and told me that I was stupid enough to not make a plan for the day, and that is my fault not hers, she then said “don’t roll your eyes at me I am just doing my job, it is not my fault that you are deciding to wait here and it’s going to be a very long wait because you are the last on my list to get done right away”. I was shocked, that someone that is working in the customer service industry is treating people like this. I was never once offered the shuttle, and was never approached by her for the remainder of my visit as the mechanic had brought me back my keys and paperwork. There is still shaking at different speeds and road conditions in my vehicle, and the door rattling has gotten worse since this particular service, and the speaker behind the panel that was changed is obviously broken. I have nothing but respect and appreciation for the parts department as they have gone out of their way to try and fix the service department’s mistakes, and their terrible customer service. I would never recommend to my family or friends to get service done their, simply for the service department. Although I have recommended people to purchase parts from the parts department. More
Salesmanager's behavior in showroom inexcuseable. Salesmanager was totally unprofessionable in front of my 75 yr. old mother when told that the 3M protective shield was not installed properly. When told about the incorrectly installed film his reaction was to tell us to leave the showroom. Not only that but during the 3M install they hit the front of the new SUV with something cracking the bumper and chrome grill piece. The SUV was taken back for the front end repairs on Monday, told that the work would be done on Wednesday, but was not ready for pickup until Saturday. Called the General Manager on Friday to find out what was going on and he stated that he needed to look into the matter and get back to us. We never heard back from him. Would not and could not recommend this dealership to anyone. More

There was no communication with the service department and each time we received our vehicle back there were new issues. This happened five times since March 2015. We were very displeased with the service as one visit lead to another. We had completely lost all confidence in this service department. On August 4, 2015 I once again was in the service department needing answers to another issue that had not been fixed. Sherwood Park Hyundai had just had our vehicle for 1 1/2 weeks and still oil leaking issues. That morning I had the privilege of meeting Joe the new service manager. He listened to my concerns and assured me that he was going to look after our vehicle. He called me as he said he would and has been very professional in assuring me that our vehicle was going to be fixed properly. The staff in the drive in service area now have a leader (Joe) to support them. Thank you all so much for your interest in us as a customer. More

I must say, the Service Manager at this I recently had my 2013 Santa Fe XL in for a routine oil change, a small recall and to repair a broken antenna. I must say, the Service Manager at this dealership went above and beyond to ensure we had been made aware of our options regarding the antenna replacement. Most car dealerships would have obviously went the most expensive route and not had given the customer any "options". I would definitely recommend this dealership and definitely return myself for any service requirements fully knowing that you can trust them 100% and you are in great hands. Service quality / parts department concerns Recently had a second service to SP Hyundai since purchasing a used Hyundai Genesis from them. When I purchased the vehicle, they missed finding a cra Recently had a second service to SP Hyundai since purchasing a used Hyundai Genesis from them. When I purchased the vehicle, they missed finding a cracked washer fluid reservoir on the AMVICs inspection report. I realized the issue about 30 days after purchase. On first service visit I requested replacement (my expense). They had to order the part in (prepaid). Was just in to replace the reservoir, change brakes, tranny flush, and oil change. After picking up the vehicle noticed they failed to test the washer reservoir replacement and function. Service invoice indicated they were out of washer fluid?! That is strange considering their proximity to places to purchase fluid from. Upon refilling the reservoir myself washer fluid would not pump. Pump was working fine when I dropped it off. Bringing vehicle back they advised it was a just coincidence that the pump now needs replacement and happened to fail at the exact same time they replaced reservoir. Going back Saturday again - 3rd visit in a week to resolve as they did not have a pump available. Very inconvenient. They also deferred the brakes as they had no brakes pads in stock. They ordered them in for the same day but those arrived wrong. Also flushed the tranny with a non OEM fluid recommended in manual (BG synthetic).Did not ask whether I was OK with non OEM. The first service visit they did not do the tranny flush as they said their house fluid (BG) would not work with the 4.6L Genesis tranny. I questioned that after I noticed the fluid they used on this visit was not OEM and they said it is ok to use now. Spend several hours on the internet to look into the BG product to give me some peace of mind. The service advisors are friendly, personable, and responsive. I believe that they could do a much better job with their parts stock (no brake pads, washer pump etc). Concerned if they can't QA a washer reservoir repair was my tranny flush done correctly and do I trust the house fluid is in fact compatible? Hope they get it right on this next visit (fix pump) as have been less than impressed with their service shop so far. Will give them a chance but as it sits now would bot recommend using them for service work. Update: Was happy to hear from service manager after posting review. Jason was respectful and responsive. He advised they will address some of the issues I had raised with better communication. My Saturday appointment went ok with the pump replacement. The made the repair at no charge. Service advisor indicated to give them a week in advance of next appointment so they can ensure the brake pads will be in stock. More
Just had the best experience I have ever had buying a car I received a call from salesperson Shelley Dixon last week saying that she could get get me a better interest rate on a trade on my 2013 Hyundai Elant I received a call from salesperson Shelley Dixon last week saying that she could get get me a better interest rate on a trade on my 2013 Hyundai Elantra. I was a bit hesitant, but thought I'd check it out. So I went in and met with Shelley and then Brad. Well, not only were they able to cut my interest rate in half, but when I went in to pick up my brand new car, Shelley surprised me with an upgrade on trim. I didn't get the GL, but the 2015 Limited! And my payments were slightly lower than they were previously! I have no idea how they did it. I was almost ready to cry I was so happy! Shelley is a wonderful person to deal with, really seems to listen and want to get you want to get you want. I got everything I asked for. Seriously, ask for her if you want a car. This is the third Hyundai I've owned and the best experience I've ever had. More

I was in a low period in my life when all seemed impossible the Shelley called! I was apprehensive because of my life situation but something told me I had nothing to lose. My experience with Shelley was so great that not only did I get a great new vehicle, but she treated me on a personal level , and I know some people will say thats a sales job, but not this time. Shelley went over and above with me, finance eventually could not help me at this time. A few days later, a miracle happened!! I was called back in and somehow... Shelley managed, after working on it for days and days, to get me app;roved!! I was helped from above, a miracle has happened and Shelley is the Angel that made it happen. I plan on keeping in touch with her in the future not only for business but on a personal level as I beleive she is a friend, not just a sales woman. More
