This service department is absolutely horrible. I've brought my vehicle in there twice now for issues and instead of fully diagnosing the issue it seems like the only thing they want to do is get m I've brought my vehicle in there twice now for issues and instead of fully diagnosing the issue it seems like the only thing they want to do is get me out of there and charge me a diagnosis fee despite having full warranty. The first time I brought it in it was for the blind spot detection system that always shuts off. Had it back the day after buying it. It happens on the regular in the winter (sporadically in the summer) even after the area has been cleaned. I brought it in for them to diagnose the sensor, there's no code in the system, they found nothing but they just told me to keep the area clean, said they calibrated and cleaned it... charged me $189. Driving home from the appointment it disabled itself again. It shuts off daily right now after being driven for 20km. Just recently brought it in because I've had to add coolant twice over the last couple oil changes as the level was below the low on reservoir. They did a pressure test and said everything is fine. I told them I could smell coolant in the vehicle after it's been running/driven for a while. There is no detail on the work order if they checked the oil to see if it might be a internal leak into the cylinders or a gasket leak, nor did they suggest doing another test to rule those issues out. They didn't ask any questions about a possible leak in the heater core... Just wanted to charge another $189. I took it to another shop and asked if I should be needing to add coolant so often and you guessed it.. No. Vehicles don't consume coolant. They then asked if I had a haze on my windows (which I do) and points to a heater core issue/leak. My overall experience with this dealership from sales to service has been filled with issues. I was told that I would have 2 years of oil changes with a package I paid a decent sum for... But apparently there was a limit not disclosed to me even after I told the finance guy (adam) I put on a lot of KMs. I was also told that the protection package I purchased could be refreshed twice in a five year period. 3M protection, undercoating, fabric protection would all be redone which was a lie. I purchased the extended warranty package (and have the certificate/record of payment) only to be told by a service advisor that I was wrong and didn't have warranty on my car. More

The team was able to accommodate my requests and needs for my last two repairs. And very friendly staff in the service department. Service department is so sketchy. Multiple issues. . I had been doing research on tires, after being treated with dignity and respect at other tire shops, Jay in the parts department Multiple issues. . I had been doing research on tires, after being treated with dignity and respect at other tire shops, Jay in the parts department told me about the promo for winter tires, did not explain what the codes on the quote meant, and got irritated when I started asking questions. As tire life is typically measured in miles, apparently these tires are different because he told me they are good for about 3 years. And, none of the other tire shops told me that I had to pay for them prior to having them installed, which Jay was trying to pressure me into paying on the spot. The locking nut from my tires was missing, they were the only ones that had ever touched the tires on my new car. It took several calls over three days, and the response that I finally got was "come on down, we would be happy to remove the locking nuts for you because you must have removed the lock from the package in the trunk." They did end up ordering me a new set which was installed without charge, but this was way more frustrating than it needed to be. Next, I brought my car in for a concern with the blind spot indicator. I had been informed when I booked the appointment that they might need to take the bumper off. I missed a call from them, took me 45 minutes to contact the service department because all service calls go through a call centre and not to the actual dealership. By the time I finally gave somebody the go ahead to do the work, I was told it would be another 1.5 hours. When I came to retrieve my car, I was told that the work wasn't done and I would need to reschedule. They had already had my car for 4 over hrs. At the same time, I informed them that I had a flat tire and would like it fixed. They told me that the tire was unfixable because the puncture was too close to the sidewall and that they could sell me a new tire for $230 plus installation.( I had just paid $115 for this tire, and when I went back to the tire shop, they were able to fix the tire. What a miracle. When I was picking up the car, I asked if they had at least put the spare tire on the car, I was told that they had not because if it snowed, I would be better off with a flat tire than with the dummy tire. The temperature happened to be close to +20 c with no snow on the forecast. I left the dealership with a flat tire and had to stop to put air in it on my way home. Also, I was told that I had an oil leak, as I had already lost faith in this dealership, I reached out to another dealership, and upon inspection was told that there was no leak, and that the repair would not have been covered under warranty. I would definitely not recommend this dealership to anybody looking to purchase or service a vehicle. More

In for the warranty oil service in near blizzard conditions. When finished I was told to look for my Venue "outback", lol. I'm 68 yrs old w no mobility issues but this turned into a very slippery/mi conditions. When finished I was told to look for my Venue "outback", lol. I'm 68 yrs old w no mobility issues but this turned into a very slippery/miserable walk! Found the car after 5+ minutes but this should not be policy in such nasty conditions, vehicle should have been brought to the front for the customer. Just saying. More
