I began my search for my 2018 GMC Terrain Denali with local dealers believing in supporting our community businesses, but unfortunately being the smaller dealers, they didn't have the "reach" Sherwood Buick GMC had when it came to finding me EXACTLTY what I was looking for. Curtis is such a wonderful respectful young man who went above and beyond to find me my vehicle. Never once did I feel pressure to buy something else they had on the lot, even when the situation looked bleak!!. He was adamant that he would find me what I wanted, and he did exactly that! Amanee was equally very professional and helpful, making the entire experience a pleasure!! More

They take your money, and then forget about you This was not a good buying experience. Our Salesman (Anthony) was young and had just started the job, but I will not hold that against him as everyon This was not a good buying experience. Our Salesman (Anthony) was young and had just started the job, but I will not hold that against him as everyone starts somewhere. Anthony was very nice and did his best to answer our questions. But as soon as we signed the papers and went into finance things started to go bad. We were rushed through financing and I wasn't given any copies of the papers I was signing, but we looked past that as we were excited about our new vehicle. Also I was told by Chris (the finance manager) that he would arrange my insurance for me and have it ready. The next day I priced out 3M at my local place (I live 2 hours away) and then contacted Chris in finance and he said the dealership would match the price and install their 3M so it was ready when I picked it up. That all sounded great and I called the day before I was to pick it up and made sure everything was ready. I was told it was and arrived the next day to pick up my new Yukon. When I arrived the insurance wasn't done, and Chris blamed me and said I needed to get it done, even though I had no proof of purchase because I wasn't given any papers. I asked if I can still take it home because a friend gave me a ride and I live 2 hours away and had no other way home. I was told I can, and then I paid for my 3M. The new salesman showed me my vehicle because a "Delivery Coordinator" wasn't provided to properly show me the features of my new vehicle. The salesman (Anthony) showed me what he could but there are still things I am trying to figure out. So that was that, and I drove home. Shortly after I left it dawned on me that I was driving a vehicle home with no insurance on it. I was in an accident or pulled over I would be in serious trouble. But I made it home luckily without incident. A few days after I was home I was inspecting the vehicle and discovered there was no 3M on it. So I called the dealership and after my prodding them for an answer, they eventually admitted that the 3M was never put on. They took my money for the 3M, but never did the work. So ever since that day I have been trying to get them to resolve this issue. I leave messages and nobody calls back, or they say they will look into it and I receive no phone call back. That was 5 days ago and I still can’t get an answer no matter who I talk to. This was a very fixable situation but because of their lack of response and interest to fix this, it was been very frustrating because it feels like once they get your signature to buy, you no longer matter. They have your money and that's all that matters. I like the vehicle and I have been buying GMC ever since I got my license, but I would return this vehicle right now if I could. The service I have received and the lack of response from the people who work at Sherwood GMC is very, very poor. UPDATE: Nothing improved from when I first posted this review. I told them I didn't want anything more to do with their dealer ship and I would take care of the 3M myself. This is after calling and calling and getting no answer, I even had to fight to get my refund on the original 3M purchase that was never done. When you are looking and ready to buy they will call you constantly. After that this dealership wants nothing to do with you. I haven't even received so much as a text from my salesman saying sorry for the trouble. I would not recommend this dealership to anyone so buyer beware More

To Possible GM Owners We bought a brand new GMC Denali terrain at the beginning of January, went to drive it off the lot and there were a bunch of electrical problems. We bought a brand new GMC Denali terrain at the beginning of January, went to drive it off the lot and there were a bunch of electrical problems. They told us the battery was dead and would fix it first thing the next morning. So after it was “fixed” and we went to take it home, not even 5 mins down the road and everything turned off again. At that point everything was already signed and finalized. So they took it back and it took them 6 days to say it was the stereo and it was “fixed and good to go” we have it for 5 days and on the highway in minus -30 again everything turned off, headlights, heat, defrost basically everything electric again. At this point we had contacted the manager and voice our concerns about how the terrain wasn’t safe nor trust worthy, and all they could say is they were sorry and we should be able to get into a new one because this wasn’t ok. After a week of it being in the shop and talking to GM direct they decided they couldn’t get us into a new one and that they figured out the problem for the terrain and they had to find/order a part for it..... it’s been to weeks and the part just came in today and it would be done today, called back to check in and now it won’t be done till Monday because it’s to big of a job. So we haven’t had our Brand New Denali Terrian for about a month... still making all our payments and that’s just AOK! Basically nothing but an absolute joke, as soon as it was signed they could do nothing, I don’t know about you but I don’t think anyone should buy a Brand new car and not have it for a month and no one care in the slightest. I would never recommend anyone buying from them without driving it for a day or two and making sure everything is working order before singing any paperwork. In all my experiences buying vehicles, this is by far the worst. More
