Our experience at the Richmond Dealership was quite positive. From the beginning, we had walked into the showroom and simply browsed at our leisure. The receptionist did actually start asking people in the showroom if they required help, to which we answered that we were looking at the WRX. Receptionist was very friendly and prompted that we take a seat, help ourselves to water/coffee while we waited for a salesperson. So of course, we helped ourselves to some coffee (Starbucks machine, fantastic). Our sales rep, Jackie, turned up while we were getting coffee and was very friendly to offer help. At the time, we did not know who he was. After we got our coffees and went back to our waiting area, only to be surprised that the nice man who helped us was our sales rep. Jackie was very down to earth and calm. Asked what we had in mind, what we wanted/needed and so on. We had done our research so were very specific in saying we wanted to test drive a WRX. Unfortunately, no manual transmission model was available, however a 2015 model with CVT was on the lot and we took the opportunity to test drive it. During the test drive, Jackie balanced between allowing us to chat amongst ourselves and addressing any concerns we had. At one point, he guided us to a banked turn and really allowed me to put the car to the test. I believe Jackie's words were, "Go ahead, we're very confident in our product." What a great drive. Not only that, we were able to gauge the interior, cabin noise, visibility and the drive does answer most of your questions about the product. As for transacting, things went very smooth for the most part. There was a slight bit of good cop/bad cop games going on with Jackie and the internal Managers. At the end of the day, the negotiation dance wasn't too bad. The point is, I asked for a little extra on top of the few back and forths and they did give it to me, making me feel just that little bit more special. Again, Jackie was very calm and open. Not rushing anything, not pushing anything onto me that I didn't want. Finally, took delivery of my new car today. First good hour was all paperwork. Jackie did show me the specifics of the car and was very open to tell us about the dealer's offerings for its customers. At the end of the day, the dealership is a business and need to make a profit to continue operating and serving other Subaru customers. They're open about it, passionate and down-to-earth in communicating and making sure both sides come out with a win-win. Jackie, you're a great guy, always a pleasure! More

We weren't left waiting for someone to approach us....unlike a lot of other dealerships we had visited. While price is an important consideration, it wasn't the key factor when I decided to buy my car at Richmond Subaru. Customer service played an integral part in my final decision. Everyone at the dealership was a pleasure to deal with -- from the sales consultant to the business manager to the insurance agent. They took the time to explain my options and I never felt pressured. I will definitely refer others to Richmond Subaru! More

Awesome team Heinz I have not looked at cars since 2010. I test drove all, and I mean all the makes. There was something that kept me coming back, it was because I love I have not looked at cars since 2010. I test drove all, and I mean all the makes. There was something that kept me coming back, it was because I love the way the Suburu feels and drives. After many many visits and test drives I just drove a beautiful 2013 Impreza hatchback home. I have to say that it was a pleasure dealing with Heinz each and every time I went in. He was so patient every time, and look at the end result. I have a Suburu sitting in my driveway. I would recommend the whole team any day hands down, thank you again!!! More
