Selling a used car that wasn’t safe for the road Bought a used 2013 Toyota RAV4 from Richmond Hill Toyota. Was told they changed both front tires due to safety and the rear tries still good for few y Bought a used 2013 Toyota RAV4 from Richmond Hill Toyota. Was told they changed both front tires due to safety and the rear tries still good for few years. Took my car to my own mechanic to change winter tires and found out that both rear tires had cracked though out the whole tires. Took the car back to Richmond Hill Toyota the next day and was told tries are still good even with cracks on them and also told that they are still good for at least 4 more years. Ask them for a written notice to prove that the tires are good. But they refuse to provide any written notice and ask my own mechanic to provide the letter. Got the letter from my mechanic to prove the tires was no safe. I will take this matter to Toyota Canada and MTO for assist. I almost traded in my 2012 Camry for an 2018 carmy. Luckily I didn’t do it. Will never go back to Richmond Hill Toyota again More
