Excellent Service By The Service Dept + Service Coordinator First off, this review has been pending for a while. I always bring in my 2015 Subaru WRX and 2009 Subaru Impreza for service to this dealership, and First off, this review has been pending for a while. I always bring in my 2015 Subaru WRX and 2009 Subaru Impreza for service to this dealership, and I always book Mike as my service coordinator. He is amazing, and takes the time to understand my needs. The instances where I have dropped my car off, and not waited, he provided a periodic status of my car to me, and ensured that the work was done well by the service technicians. At times, when there was a delay, he would apologize, and would explain to me why the delay was caused. Put it this way, bringing in either of my Subaru vehicles to the Richmond Hill Subaru service department, and being looked after by Mike, I can just close my eyes, and know that my Subies are in excellent hands! Thanks again Mike! Looking forward to future service appointments! More

It was a great experience to meet Mike in person and he was able to explain things in good details and provide value-added customer service. He even shared with me on how he would maintain his own Forester XT and I found that really useful. He is surely a great asset to the dealership. I would recommend Mike to anyone. Good job Mike! More

He made suggestions regarding service inspections backed up with good explanations, not aggressively pushing services that were not necessary. The dealership was recently renovated (ie. building was completely rebuilt from scratch) and featured a spacious and a very comfortable service lounge. More

Unpleasant experience Couple of weeks ago my husband and I walked into RH Subaru dealer to look for a slightly used outback. We dealt with one salesperson but since the de Couple of weeks ago my husband and I walked into RH Subaru dealer to look for a slightly used outback. We dealt with one salesperson but since the dealership was closing we had to come back another day, which we did. We were connected with a different salesperson and took the car for a test drive. We were quite interested so we decided to start the pricing process. We had a car for trade in and it took the salesperson 20 minutes of questions, and inspection of the car to offer us $200 for a trade in. I was floored, you can take the tires alone and sell them for more than that. We got this lecture about how this vehicle holds no value because it is from the US. Had I known that this would be the trade in offer I would have not wasted my time and go through the labourous process of having it priced. Additionally the Outback had a tiny dent and scratch on it so we inquired about that, we were told that "some dents/scratches are impossible to get out" basically it is perfectly acceptable to spend over 20K on a car but don't expect it to be in great condition. After that I signaled to my husband "lets get out of here" and we left. I sold my car privately(in 3 days) for 13x the money that was offered to me by Subaru and that very same day went to RH Toyota and bought a nice Venza. The Venza had a tiny chip in the back so I inquired about it, the response "oh, don't worry this car will be fully detailed and we will make sure you are happy with it" Perhaps you can learn something from the two different experiences, perhaps if your salesperson was equipped with some soft skills rather than arrogance it would be your dealership that would benefit from the sale and future service revenue. More

He gave me time to think about what I wanted and I appreciated it. Overall great experience, would recommend. More
First drive by experience and very impressive We have to evaluate which car to pick after the end lease of the current vehicle. All wheel drive is a must have since my wife is very concern about safety and winter driving. We visited this dealer on a drove by on Saturday which was quite busy. We didn't feel pressure when inside, lots of freedom to look around. Alex Kam found us after serving his client and he started with a few simple questions that helped us filtered out the models and trims that can be of interests. We told Alex that we are not buying car that day, simply doing research and if possible a test drive as we have never drove a Subaru before. During the 2 hours stay in the dealership, Alex gave us a pleasant feeling, he is very knowledgeable about Subaru, other brands and industry as whole, knows how to show us test driving the vehicle, and a few tips on financial data. He made everything very easy for us. We live in Markham but if indeed we have chosen Subaru, we would like to buy from Richmond Hill as Alex Kam had definitely provided us with a superb buying experience. Thank-you for that! More

I went into the dealership without an appointment and was promptly introduced to Francis Lee. He took me on multiple test drives over several days. He was very pleasant and very professional. He loves cars and is not the slightest bit pushy. When I decided that a Subaru was for me, he helped me find the exact model I wanted and corresponded with me closely over the two months that it took for delivery. He went above and beyond, even driving to two licensing offices to get plates I requested! Despite the long wait for my vehicle to be delivered, I would wholeheartedly recommend Francis Lee as a salesman. More
