I have had a very disappointing experience with Otto’s BMW Ottawa. On September 7th, my car wouldn’t start, so I left it with their key drop-off. On September 8th, they replaced the battery without givin BMW Ottawa. On September 7th, my car wouldn’t start, so I left it with their key drop-off. On September 8th, they replaced the battery without giving me any diagnostic report. That same evening, my car broke down again—the starter had failed. I had to tow it back and was later charged close to $2,000 for a new starter. After picking up the car, just a few days later (September 14th), I got a parking brake error. On September 15th, I returned to the dealership and was told I now had two more issues: the parking brake button and something related to the air conditioning. They also tried to charge me another diagnostic fee and they did, at least with %30 discount after fighting. To make things worse, the parking brake button they quoted at $920 is available at BMW Markham for $224. This raises serious concerns about honesty and transparency in their pricing. The service advisor (Abdel) was not helpful, dismissive, and at times rude. He even told me pickup service was not available, which was untrue—forcing me to spend more on Ubers. I feel the dealership mishandled my car’s electrical system, creating more problems instead of solving them. In total, I have spent over $2,000 in a matter of days and now face additional costs for problems that may have been caused during their service. I have completely lost trust in Otto’s BMW Ottawa. If you value honesty, professionalism, and proper BMW-level service, I strongly recommend avoiding this dealership. More
