Of course with a Honda you get an excellent product and most likely will require only regular maintenance. We have never had any major problems with our Hondas. More

Service Department We bought our Honda Pilot from Ottawa Honda almost 7 years ago now. Ever since, we've only taken it back to them for service and/or repair. I honest We bought our Honda Pilot from Ottawa Honda almost 7 years ago now. Ever since, we've only taken it back to them for service and/or repair. I honestly never think of going anywhere else. Taking care of a car is expensive, so sure, sometimes there's a shock at the cash when having work done, but at Ottawa Honda, it's never one that feels inflated or unfair. Booking appointments has never proven tricky, they are always fully staffed at service desks with plenty of friendly faces to help. The mechanic I usually deal with, Lloyd is one of the most comfortable 'car guys' I've ever dealt with at a service bay. He explains clearly and patiently what I need to know about any problems or issues. The work is done in plain view and the waiting area is large, quiet and clean. We also drive a VW Passat and from our experience dealing with a few VW service departments in Ottawa, my husband and I are always saying we wish we could bring it in to Lloyd and the staff at Ottawa Honda. I think it's unfortunate that a lot of people assume if you get your vehicle serviced where you buy it that you're somehow not getting a fair deal. That maybe you always pay too much to have a certified technician. But for all my experiences with other vehicles when doing that, it's usually more frustrating or complicated then it's worth. So I would honestly say that even though we're not 'brand specific' with what we drive. We will consider buying another Honda so that our service will continue to be fair and pleasant. It's not even the closest Honda to our house or work place, but going anywhere else hasn't even crossed my mind. More

Could not ask for a better experience! I was in a real bind, my Civic Hybrid would not start and was stuck in an underground structure that would not accommodate a tow truck, no matter how I was in a real bind, my Civic Hybrid would not start and was stuck in an underground structure that would not accommodate a tow truck, no matter how small. I called Ottawa Honda and spoke with Vicki McDermid, who immediately explained the situation to the Service Manager, Marc Houle. Moments later, Vicky was back on the line and assured me that they could do an on-site servicing of the vehicle, even though they don’t normally do this…I was shocked that they would do this…and incredibly pleased, and relieved that a solution was at hand. At the time they specified, Vicky and the Service Technician, Mathew Lefebvre, arrived, assessed the situation and fixed the problem…all in less than 15 minutes! Again, I was so pleased with the level of service, the friendliness of the people I dealt with and their expertise…and Mathew, you rock!!! Thank you very much Marc, Vicky and Mathew! More
