Yet problem was not discovered earlier when under warranty even thought it was serviced for warranty work at least three times in the past 14 months at this dealership, when asked multiple times to check vehicle over for any problems while still under warranty. Yet they allowed an unsafe vehicle by their own words out on the street, you would think that the oversight on their part would be enough for them to correct the problem at no cost to the customer, but that did not happen. So once again, safety comes at at cost only, so don't think that your or your families safety comes first before the all mighty dollar More

The transmission module was replaced (manufacturers defect) but I was still having issues. I brought my vehicle in and Gord Karr served me. It was a horrible experience. He clearly didn’t like his job. After waiting about an hour and a half, a technician looked at my car and told me I needed an oil change. I told them I just had one done at their dealership (3000 KM ago) and that the problems I was experiencing (interrupted acceleration, slipping into neutral, sporadic power interruption climbing hills) had nothing to do with an oil change. I relented and had it done. They pulled my car around and said it was fixed. When I got into the vehicle the engine light was still on!! And it was immediately evident that the same issues remained. They pulled it back into the service bay. After another 2 hours, I was told I needed a spark plug (just one apparently, at 61,000km). ??? Highly unlikely but again I relented. They changed the spark plug, CHARGED ME FOR A DIAGNOSIS (because I was at 61,000KM instead of 60,000K), and charged me for the oil change that I didn’t need. Wow! By the way, I had purchased a very expensive extended warranty. It doesn’t end there. Shortly after this horrible experience, I received a letter from Chrysler Canada, a recall for the very transmission module I was complaining about!!! I have since placed a call to the service department to have the recall looked after, with NO RESPONSE from them. I took the time to construct a detailed email to Gord and give them the chance to address my concerns. The email was ignored. So, I called Chrysler Canada directly. Again, I spent the time going through the whole experience. Despite their empathy for me, Chrysler Canada did nothing for me, even after it was clear through their own recall that the transmission module was defective and needed replacing again. They would not compensate me for the oil change I didn’t need or the spark plug I didn’t need and the expensive extended warranty I had purchased. Their solution was to try and schedule the recall/repair of the transmission module with O’Connor. In the end, I have scheduled the service with a dealership all the way out in Mission, BC because of the incompetence and horrible customer service received by this dealership. By the way, I am a Manager of Customer Sales and Service. It boggles my mind that anyone in this competitive market can be treated like this. Chrysler has a horrible reputation and I had purchased the Dart thinking they were trying to earn back their rep and market share. I was very wrong. Never have I been treated with such disdain. Do to the nature of my work and position I rarely go to such lengths to communicate a negative experience. I tend to think most customer concerns will be and can be rectified. Chrysler clearly does not want my business. Imagine losing a customer for life over an oil change and a spark plug. The only solution for me going forward is to tell everyone that I know when the conversation turns to vehicles, to never, EVER buy a Chrysler. More importantly, I am active in the Chilliwack community and I will certainly be telling everyone to never darken the doors of this dealership. If you are forced to deal with them for whatever reason, BEWARE! More
Hungry for business, but service leaves you disappointed. Took my 2009 dodge caliber for oil change and I asked for transmission fluid check. The oil tech told me it's a sealed unit. Service tech came out an Took my 2009 dodge caliber for oil change and I asked for transmission fluid check. The oil tech told me it's a sealed unit. Service tech came out and stuck oil dipstick into trans. tube and says fine. When trans.started dlipping on highway, it cost me 126.00 plus tax for road test and fluid check. " The tech confirmed slipping and thinks fluid level is high" I asked if he took fluid out to be at right level, answer was no. Fluid replacement service is $400.00 plus tax on top of $126.00 already paid. Service clerk asked me if I had bcaa..I will never go back to O'Connor or any other dodge dealer EVER. More
Terrible serivice This service department is the worst. They refuse to fix our Jeep and they only update the computer in it because they don't properly look at it. That This service department is the worst. They refuse to fix our Jeep and they only update the computer in it because they don't properly look at it. That doesn't fix the problem! They say keep bringing it in because we have lots of warranty left! We left our jeep there for 3 weeks and all they did was update the system. It is unacceptable. This is ongoing for a year. The manager says he will look into it personally and call us but never did. They have given our loaner car away twice even though our appt was booked for a month in advance! My husband has caught them in their lies many times. We tried talking to the owner and he told my husband he was lying about the terrible service. What a joke this place is! Such a headache. We are now dealing with chrystler canada More
Imagine your brand new vehicle is lagging, drastically dropping speed from 100 to 50km an hour, we were on holidays when it happend took the car for diagnostic for the check engine light to find out what dropping speed from 100 to 50km an hour, we were on holidays when it happend took the car for diagnostic for the check engine light to find out what the problem was at a Chrysler dealership in 100 mile house(superb service) they gave us the codes but oconnors refused to take their diagnosis. So instead of fixing the problem they reset the computer and said you have lots of warranty left!!! Now imagine driving down the hwy going 100km an hour with a semi truck 30 ft behind you and your car stalls out...scary isn't it it doesn't matter at that point how much warranty is left now does it? Thank god my husband is a good driver and reacts fast. Money hungry selfish dealership! As soon as you buy a car from them your nothing but a VIN ! More
