Regular schedued service I arrived a few minutes early for my appointment. I had to wait only about five minutes until a service tech came and welcomed me. He filled out the service request and then escorted me to the waiting room. He gave me a pager, and said that the service would take just over an hour. Based on what a mechanic friend told me, the initial quoted cost to repair from Northstar was significantly higher than it should have been. I talked to the service manager who reviewed my situation and quoted me a fair price. I rarely go to dealerships for mechanical work (other than new vehicles on warranty) because I have found they charge more and are inflexible. This time, I felt I was heard and treated fairly and am far more open to returning to Northstar for my mechanical issues. More
