Another exceptional expirience I was yet again reminded why I drive across the city to do my business with this dealership/service center. I popped in last week as one of my key I was yet again reminded why I drive across the city to do my business with this dealership/service center. I popped in last week as one of my key Fobs stopped working. I had every intention of just asking if the service gang had any quick tips and if not, booking the truck in for servicing another day. As I usually do, I went over to Fiona and explained my situation. She pulled up my account and noticed I had 2 recalls on my truck and that she was due for servicing. Fiona went and spoke with another service person and within minutes was back telling me to leave my keys and the truck would be serviced, recall parts ordered and Fob fixed in an hour and a half. I was blown away yet again by the efficiency at which Fiona and her team work and the continued attention to customer service. I was fully prepared to come back another day- but knowing I live across the City, Fiona ensured my needs were dealt with ASAP. I went for lunch and with and hour and a half, Fiona called to say Truck was ready. The Fob was replaced under warranty, truck serviced and parts ordered. I shouldn’t be surprised by this stellar service as I have never had a bad experience at this dealership with any employee, but yet again they go above and beyond to satisfy a customer with top notch attention to detail. A huge thank you again to Fiona and everyone at Northstar for continually raising the bar at putting its customer first. On a side note- as I was waiting for the last of the paperwork to be completed. Sales manager Clayton walked by and even tho I bought my truck 2 years ago, he remembered me, and made a joke regarding a conversation we had 2 years earlier. With the amount of people and names he comes across in a day, I was impressed that he took the time to come say hi and knew exactly who I was. It’s the small details like this that make this group of ford employees a pleasure to deal with on every visit. More
Good up front service but technicians not up to par - again I brought my truck in to fix an issue in the front end - what I expect to be a stability or braking control issue. I gave explicit written instructions on how to replicate the noise. They did replicate the noise but incorrectly diagnosed the issue and said that their fix stopped the noise from reoccurring. This was not the case as the noise is still happening. Even paid for an inspection to make sure everything is in good working order prior to the warranty expiring - you might think that the failure would be double checked at that point but it was not.Frustration with this service department is rising as I had a similar experience with my drive shaft shortly after buying my truck - took 4 visits that time to get it fixed properly. No confidence in this service department which will push me to service my truck elsewhere after warranty is done. Hate to have Cassandra's name attached to this as she did her part of the job very well - the failure is 100% on the techs. More
Oil change I drove in and was met by Kevin who immediately knew who I was and proceeded to check me in. Followup on previous service Previous service of vehicle was less than satisfactory due to items to be looked at still had same problems once repairs apparently had been done. I have purchased cars from Northstar before and was very satisfied with both sales and service. This time I was pleased with the service advisor/service as everything was done well and other items which should have been done earlier was brought to my attention (power steering leak, transmission fluid very black). Finally was extremely helpful and informative. More
Excellent service I had a problem with the engine light coming on in my F350 I took it to Northstar on a Saturday and Cassandra had my truck looked at for me. They did I had a problem with the engine light coming on in my F350 I took it to Northstar on a Saturday and Cassandra had my truck looked at for me. They did not have the part in stock but was ordered and arrived on Tuesday. It was great to have such quick service from North Star and thanks to Cassandra, as my truck is my office. Finished early I dropped my truck off for a routine oil change and tire rotation at 07:00.
