Unfortunately I was turned away with a 10 day waiting period as they were all booked. Northstar was the exception and made a special effort to get the truck in to determine if it was a simple fix allowing me to continue the holidays with the vehicle or park it immediately. Friendly Service With Promises Kept I found that the followup from the service staff was good in that they reminded me that I had a vehicle needing service due to a recall. It took longer than it should have to get the vehicle in considering that it was a potential brakes problem... but at least they ordered the parts and did indeed contact me when they arrived urging me to get that repair taken care of. The staff was smiley. How can you not like that? They were friendly, efficient and called me before doing any service that I hadn't asked for. The shuttle driver "Jim" gets an important nod as well. He is an especially nice guy and was also on time and efficient. More

Why not 5 ? It's such a little detail, but it is sometimes in the little details. There was DEF fluid spilt down the side of the truck. Such a little thing, I know. And some people will probably think I am being silly and over fussy. It's only that I happened to read in the manual that, as with other fuel/fluid spillages, it does say to make sure it is cleaned off with a damp cloth and a bucket of water. I dare say that, had I noticed it while I was there, they would have done it for me. Unfortunately, I didn't spot it until I got home. So... Do I recommend NorthStar ? Yes I do ! Ray in Sales is fantastic and was very patient with us; Michael, Cassandra, and Lianne in Service provide excellent Customer Service. And, I am quite sure that I will give 5 stars the next time :) More
