BUYER BEWARE - Northstar ford will misrepresent products I was draw in buy the funny ads that Northstar ford has on the radio. i went in looking for a new truck that could haul a camper in the bed. Initial I was draw in buy the funny ads that Northstar ford has on the radio. i went in looking for a new truck that could haul a camper in the bed. Initially i was happy with my sales person as well as how knowledgeable the sales manager appeared to be. They showed my a truck and informed me that it was the only model and trim available that would be able to hold enough weight in the box for a camper. However it was lacking in many options i wanted. They stated it was not possible to get those options as well as tghe heavy duty payload package i was looking for. I decided that i would be ok without some of those options and i put down a deposit on the truck they showed me. I soon after learned that they lied to me about those options i wanted not being available. They just wanted me to put a deposit down on a truck they had in the lot so they could sell it rather than allowing me to factory order a truck through them. They then refused to return my deposit even though the misrepresented their product and my options. Just ne aware that they will lie to you to get your deposit and then hold it hostage. Go anywhere else to buy your truck. I will be filling a complaint with Ford and AMVIC for their shadey sales practices. More

Great minus confusion with booking I booked my appointment on the phone about 10-12 days before and the girl on the phone said I could wait for my car and that the day was wide open for I booked my appointment on the phone about 10-12 days before and the girl on the phone said I could wait for my car and that the day was wide open for appointments. I picked a 9am time slot and when I arrived, the service girl said that they don't take appointments on Saturdays. I realize it wasn't there service girl who booked my appointment but I had planned on waiting for my service. At this point the service girl told me she'd try and figure something out. I went and sat in the show room and she came back a few minutes later and told me that she'd gotten my car in. The service girl was great but the girl who booked my appointment might need to know when to take appointments and when not to take them. More

Can't Recommend This Group Enough Cannot recommend the service department at this dealership enough. They reviewed a fairly substantial warranty claim that was rejected by another deal Cannot recommend the service department at this dealership enough. The whole team was fantastic and made every effort to ensure I was looked after from start to finish. There are literally 6 dealerships closer to me than North Star, but I can assure you that they will be my first call for service and sales moving forward. More
