took my Jeep in for service and after a terrible experience, I received an email from Todd Shivers, NewRoads Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram General Manager, saying in part "Your feedback is valuable, as it experience, I received an email from Todd Shivers, NewRoads Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram General Manager, saying in part "Your feedback is valuable, as it helps us to meet your needs and make improvements, with the goal of achieving exceptional service." The following is my response to his email to which I received NO reply from Mr Shivers. "Thanks for reaching out regarding recent service. Unfortunately, I’m not happy with my experience nor the end result. The original issue was a warning I received on the display that said “4WD System Unavailable Service Required”. I took it to my usual mechanic who said the he’d read an article about Jeep’s having a lot of issues with the transfer case and suggested I take it to the dealer as he thought there was a recall because of this problem. As it turned out there wasn’t any recall that your service department could find but I left it with them to diagnose the problem on April 12th. The service department had the truck for 3 days and first suggested that a sensor needed to be replaced - that wasn’t the issue. Then it was a module that needed to be replaced but it was on back order and was told it would be a week or longer to get the part. When expressed my concern that they’d already had the vehicle for 3 days, they said that it was fully drivable and I could pick it up and drive it until the part came in. When the module was replaced the issue was still not resolved and the warning sign was still on. So far the bill is now $1350.74 and the original issue has not been fixed! Now I’m informed there is a hydraulic pump code showing up and upon further investigation of rear differential, metal was found in the oil in the diff. I’m told that the 4WD system is operating as designed but a new rear differential is now required for $2379 + 4.5 hours of labour! So I told service that I’d have to think about this and was told that the vehicle was fully drivable so I left. Before even hitting Davis drive, the same warning came back on. I pulled a U turn and went back to the service department to ask about this. They said that the warning was to do with the rear differential issue that needs to be done but was fine to drive. So to this point, service has had the vehicle for 4 days and I’ve spent $1350 on parts that I may or may not have needed and the Jeep is still exactly where it was before I started. It seems to me that the service philosophy is “I think it the sensor, let’s put a new one in - nope that wasn’t it. Lets try a new module - nope that didn’t work either. OK let’s try replacing the rear differential and see if that works...” Unfortunately I have no confidence that the first 4 days & $1350 was actually needed and that lack of confidence extends into the proposed $3K+ repair that’s suggested. I think I’ll go back to my usual mechanic and get the job done right the first time." After being asked for my feedback, and giving it, I dod not receive ANY other communication from this dealer or the G.M. More

this is the worst dealer i have ever experienced in my life. I did not know much about the pick up truck in general and specifically Ram 1500$. We saw our friend bought one and thought about it. We went to the dealer close our home and they showed us 2022 Ram 1500 sport and limited model. Quickly the salesman told me we have a good deal today and told us the limit model price is 78,000$ . As mentioned we did not know much about the Ram so i think it sound good. We told the salesman if they could have given us the winter tire set or somethings equivalent we would finalized it. It happened on the same day. We did not shop around at all. When we were back to the dealer ship next day, they told us they sent us the wrong car price. this should be 95k . :(((what? 17k difference. after shock , we accepted the fact sometimes it happened: the guy probably made mistake. with bit of negotiation, it came down to 93,000s plus a set of winter tire with 22 inch rim on it. My wife didnt want to spend over 90k for a truck which we did not really use it since we have a lexus and an oddessy at home. we asked they could accepted 90,688$ . Finally they brought the paper and said we had a deal. However, when we signed the paperwork, the winter set was not there. The representative told me they gave too much the discount they could included the winter set????.they removed the set and discount 2300$ which doesnt make sense. I should have accepted the original deal. The representative told me the 22 inch rim and tires are around 2800-3000$ . sorry he couldnt ask to include ; however, that was the deal before. Regards, we were at the final stage of signing the paperwork, i did not like to argue on it . i told them i would pay 1000$ and they covered the rest for the winter set. Done. 1 week later , when i came to pick up the car, all the paperwork done . i didn’t see invoice for the winter and nothing was given. They said they couldnt do for me. Hey , why did they tell me the other day or called me before i signed the paperwork. I was mad and told them we cancelled the deal. The manager said “close the deal”. they ordered me the set. i paid 1000$ and asked them wrote it down on the receipt. They called me about 1 week to come to pick up the set. Back up my car at the door, a set of 18 inch tires not 22 and not nice rim as they said . it is basic rim for winter. i was mad and did not accept it. since it was not a deal we agreed on. The another manager told me i had to accept it since 22 inch rim and winter tires do not exist/ are not applicable for the truck:)). i challenged him and finally he said small rim is more safety. After 2 hours of back and forth and wait for the solutions, they did not come up with anything. they said it cost them 4600$ to purchase something i wanted. i said i didnt know how much but it was the deal. I was very tired and just wanted to get it done. i mentioned why they just gave me 2000$ and 1000$ back. i would buy myself. They said they cant give any money.:(((). My wife and family were very upset. we were trapped. We finally agreed with 18 inch winter tire but must be mounted on a nicer rim. They agree and told me the manager would call me in next several days to let me know when it was ready. Almost two weeks now, nobody updated me. i texted the representative. he ignored me until i would filed a complaint. Until now i still do not have any update from them . I am discussing with lawyer clerk to file a complaint to canada consumer protection and consider to go further action . It is not worth to sue if looking at it financing side but if we do not do anything this kind of dealer will rip off customers More
