Ray was the only one to treat me like the customer, and in all honesty Ray made this experience worth it. He truly cares about his customers, and often checks in to make sure everything is going well. We looked at GM products mostly, as our last couple of purchase have been GMs, and we've been very satisfied with their performance. We also saw some Fords. I started visiting dealerships on my own, about the 3rd week of January and that was when I met Michael Small of NewRoads in Newmarket. Michael was low key, very pleasant, knowledgable and helpful. He was able to help narrow my choices, and whittled down the price of a showroom car that I liked. He was also very sympathetic concerning my accident. Thankfully no one was hurt. I must have appeared a bit shaken that day. The next weekend my husband and I visited all the GM dealerships in and around Newmarket, eventually coming back to NewRoads. I could not see Michael, so another salesperson came by and we started talking. Soon after, Michael appears, but graciously starts to bow out of the situation. To his credit, the 2nd salesman (Steven Leadbeater) left us and Michael and I continued. I was embarrassed, but he put me at ease numerous times. Later Michael suggests we all go for a test drive, he and my husband talked car engine details. Back at the dealership, Michael and I continued negotiations and I'm happy to say I'm now the owner of the showroom car I saw the 1st day we met.
