But as soon as he saw it was two black women he made a 360 immediately and whispered something to the receptionist then proceeded to call a Nigerian sales guy to assist us. I recognized the situation and call them out right away. My friend and I left soon after. Customer service at that place is low graded. Still looking for a Honda vehicle but with all the negative comments I need some to get to the best honda dealership More

The employee I dealt with shouldn't be selling vehicles or dealing with people. He made me feel like I was stupid. Please save your money and spend it at a different dealership. Definitely dont buy from here or deal with Eason. The rate for this is less than poor. More

Upon our a We went to Midtown Honda around 4:00pm on Tuesday Sept 25, with intension to look, test drive and possibly purchase a Honda Civic, Touring. Upon our arrival we were greeted with a yell from a receptionist sitting at the desk. We had a look around the showroom to see if we could see the car we were looking for but we couldn’t see one, so after passing 11, yes “11” sales and admin staff that didn’t even acknowledge us, we asked the receptionist for assistance. She thought there was a vehicle we were looking for beside the desk, no it wasn’t there, then she proceeded to point to the back and ask us if the “white one” was a Touring?, we told her no it was an SI. We told her there was one out front of the dealership which she proceeded to tell us we couldn’t drive it because it was probably sold. At this point she tried to call a rep for assistance (I was hoping it would be one of the “11” we passed), and on the other end of the call we heard, do they have an appointment? She said no we were “walk ins”. I personally didn’t think I had to make an “appointment” to see a car I want to purchase, but I guess we can’t interrupt any of the above mentioned 11 associates that had no customers however could find time to take a selfie! So needless to say we waited another 10 minutes to no avail, so we left. This was my first experience at a Honda Dealership which I am completely disappointed in, but as my fiancé has had a great experience at the Parkway Honda Dealership I will take my business there despite it being a half an hour further away! I took the car in in August because the Voice Recognition does not work on the navigation system. Four hours later I was told that it's not just my car but that testing was done on another CR-V and that it's a problem with CR-V. I was told to call Honda Canada customer relations. I called them. They kept me on hold for close to an hour while they tried to contact someone from service. (They told me they were trying to find the service manager). They said they needed a diagnostic report before they could do anything. I then spent the next few days trying to contact Andrew Lawrence the service manager. I left numerous messages and finally I complained to reception that he wasn't returning my calls. He did return my call that morning but said nothing other than identifying himself and telling me where I could reach him. Of course when I called back, he didn't pick up and to this day I have not spoken to Andrew. A few days after my the initial call to Honda Canada I called them back to follow up and they told me that they wouldn't have called me back. So, I went through the whole story again and again waited on hold while the dealership was contacted. Eventually the rep came back and told me to make an appointment with Mike in service. I made an appointment for Sept. 12 and when I went in he had no idea why I'd been referred to him. Again, they looked at the car and then told me there is no fix for the problem. They are working on a fix but they have no idea if or when one would be available. I was then told to call Honda Canada again. She told me I should hear back within FIFTEEN DAYS! Meanwhile my navigation system that I paid thousands of dollars extra for does not work. And no mention of compensation from either Honda Canada or Midtown. More

Agree with most of the negative reviews I emailed this dealership in advance inquiring about a Civic hatchback or coupe. These were the only type of cars I mentioned, and while I was there I emailed this dealership in advance inquiring about a Civic hatchback or coupe. These were the only type of cars I mentioned, and while I was there I said we had settled on the hatchback. We went back and forth a few times and eventually they came up with a price I could live with. I went over the financing and signed papers and they told me they would get back to me once they found the model and colour I was looking for. It wasn't until the following morning I looked at the bill of sale and realized they had sold me a SEDAN, a model I had never even talked about. I have to wonder what was said between the manager and sales person. I called them and told them this is not what we talked about, and they did not even argue with me (almost like they knew what they had done), and told me I could come in for a refund. When I came in a day or two later to get the refund, I asked the manager if he wanted to talk about a deal for the hatchback I did want. Again, he gave me a price I could live with and said that they would have to try to find the exact car I wanted. He told me it might be that day (a Saturday, but more likely on Monday). I called Monday, and got the impression that they had not started looking for the car. I called Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday, always being told they were still looking, after getting the impression the manager was avoiding taking my calls. On Thursday I told them I was calling off the deal, and I started calling around myself to find the car I wanted (wasn't that their job?). Within about a half hour of making some phone calls I spoke to a dealership who could get me the exact car I wanted, and made arrangements to pick up my refund on Saturday from Midtown Honda. When I got there everything was ready, but the salesman made me feel like I had been a real annoyance calling every day. I drove to the new dealership, got more or less the same deal, and picked up the exact car I wanted on the Monday. My overall feeling was that they never intended to find me the car I wanted and they were just hoping over time I would tell them I wanted another model. The only employee who seemed honest was Josh who went over the financing with me. I would never recommend this dealership to anyone More

He agreed with me that the rear-view camer As I see in all the other complaints, Midtown Honda, primarily the manager, Andrew Lawrence, is dishonest. He agreed with me that the rear-view camera in my 2015 Honda Civic is very dark and therefore a safety hazard, especially on bright, sunny days. However, I just got a call from the mediation team at Honda Canada informing me that Andrew told them that my camera was fine. In fact, it is a safety hazard. It is ok on dark days, but totally dark on clear days. Honda Canada refuses to take responsibility for this. I was told to go, if I want, to another Honda dealership to see if they agree with me. I don't trust any of them at this point. When I was at Midtown Honda, another mechanic also had a look at the camera and agreed with me that it was in fact very dark, and a safety hazard. Obviously Andrew is speaking out of both sides of his mouth. People who have driven in my car totally agree with me that the camera is useless on a sunny day. The car was brand new when I purchased it, and I only put 11,000 km on it in 3 years because I am afraid to back up. More
