Worst Place to buy a Car "This is the worst experience I've ever had buying BMW X5 ! They are HORRIBLE!". WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE. TYPICAL USED CAR MENTALITY. JUST SELL THE CAR AND THEN DON"T GIVE A xxxx TO CUSTOMERS. I WOULD STRONGLY RECOMMEND TO THINK 100 TIMES BEFORE YOU BUY CAR FROM THEM AND DO YOURSELF A FAVOR AND DON"T BUY ANYTHING FROM THEM. AND SAVE YOURSELF FROM LOTS OF STRESS AND SPENDING THE MONEY ON JUNK. They are not different than any Curbside Dealer. I asked the sales person that is anything wrong with the car he said I WON"T GET YOU STALLED. I Bought an X5 from the BMW MARANELLO. Since I have two other cars so I didn't take the X5 for long drive. Purpose of the car mainly to drop off kids and pick up from school which is literally within kilo meter of radius. Car sales person was notified and he didn't bother to call or try to find out what was the issue. Instead he sent me CAR FAX that showed that CAR was SERVICED at BMW MARANELLO and on the Top of they did safety and emission. So, the real test starts when we had guest coming over from Florida, USA. WE went to Blue mountain and on the way back BMW literally stopped and it was really cold. We started getting a solid message saying Engine is Over Heating and it is not safe to drive. Every time we put that into drive, car switches itself to neutral. Since we were in the middle of nowhere and it was so cold and I had my kids with them as well. It took some time for the CAA to get to us and town the car to our house. Thanks God that our guests were in Highlander and it worked ran like a charm. Not only it was too much pain and stress that was caused and embarrassment in front of the Guests as well. They were like are you sure you bought this from BMW Dealer or any curb side dealer. This shouldn't happen in first thirty days of the Purchase. So, when the car reached home. I called BMW Maranello that how come you never checked the car properly before selling it to us. When I told them that I will get the car Checked from OMVIC (ONTARIO MOTOR VEHICLE INDUSTRY COUNCIL) that's when they said bring the car in. They said bring the car in, I told them that the car is not drivable so they said tow it in. Before I even tow the car in, I sent them an email stating that we are not going to pay for any diagnose and repair. They kept on insisting us to bring the car in. When we brought the car in, they said it needs new water Pump and it will cost you more than $1500 to fix it. We were like we just got the car not more than 30 days and it shouldn't happen. THE CAR WAS RECENTLY SERVICED and you did safety before selling the car. They kept on saying that we can't take the responsibility and you have to pay for repair and it will take four and a half hours of Labor and $700 of part. I shop around for other BMW, who can fix the car they literally said that it will take two hours (comparing to Maranello's 4-and-a-half-hour labor) At the end we had to get the car fixed from MARANELLO at their asking rate. I Strongly suggest you to stay away from Maranello and don't believe on what CAR FAX or service records they show you for used cars. There is no such thing like customer Satisfaction and admit their mistakes policy at BMW Maranello. Buy from them only you want to start spending on repair aright after few days of purchase or put your kids into danger. "This is the worst experience I've ever had buying BMW X5! They are HORRIBLE!". Overall, every time I visit I find the wait time to be incredibly long. From oil changes to tire changes, it’s just excessive in terms of wait and the estimated time provided versus actual time is always incredibly long. Also, the business centre is really not a business centre at all. So working while you wait is really not an option. More
