Terrible experience I went in with a friend last weekend. We had looked at the Ford Escape and Ecosport in the parking lot. We popped inside the dealership to ask if we could take a peek inside the vehicles to check out trunk space. Adam was the sales person that approached us. He invited us into his office area and said that Ford does things a bit differently and we needed to go through an online survey type thing with him and it's a much more effective way to vehicle shop as we need to check off the things we are looking for and our price range and then it will print out all the vehicles at the dealership that would suit our needs. We reiterated again that we just wanted to see the inside of the vehicle to determine if my stroller would fit and that we'd also like prices. He insisted we complete this online survey with him. It asked for details to run my credit and all my personal details. He tried to trick me into completing everything, but I just skipped over most of it. At then end it asked me to rate my experience on his computer. I told him I was putting zero as I didn't like the experience of being asked this info when all I wanted was to see the 2 vehicles I had mentioned. He said that the rating was for him specifically and basically asked me to give him full stars. Keep in mind he is right there as I am doing this...it was so awkward. After this, no list magically appeared of vehicles that matched what I was looking for. He just finally went and got the keys to the 2 vehicles we had asked about. We asked for the prices as well. He said he would tell us on the walk out...which he didn't do. Once we looked at the vehicles and I asked the prices again he said he had to get one of his managers to go over prices so we asked him to go inside and find out. It was a terrible and uncomfortable experience and because of this I decided I wouldn't look any further into buying a Ford (even though that was originally my 1st choice). We never got one straight answer. It was a complete waste of an hour. More

A Perfect Experience After deciding we wanted an F-150, we visited our closest dealership with our list of wants and needs. The salesperson a)did not listen to our needs; After deciding we wanted an F-150, we visited our closest dealership with our list of wants and needs. The salesperson a)did not listen to our needs; b) had no idea what vehicles they had on the lot; and c) completely turned us off with his attitude. We told them we were going to do "more research" and left. We went straight to Maclin. As soon as we got out of our vehicle, we walked up to an employee, explained that we had a list of options we wanted and that we'd already left one dealership. Adam was immediately professional and remained so during the entire experience. As he was new, he wanted to make sure we were treated properly, and asked his manager, Justin, to get involved. The two of them not only listened to what we asked for, they were immediately helpful in determining which vehicles met those needs. We hopped in a vehicle, took a spin, and decided if the price was right we would make the deal. Needless to say, we got a great deal on the truck we wanted, with ALL of the options we had listed. A huge shout-out to Justin and Adam for making our experience memorable and friendly. Never once did we feel we were getting a run-around or "gamed" in any way. The whole place just "felt right", all the way through dealing with Angela in finance. We will definitely recommend Maclin to anyone looking for a Ford vehicle. They did really satisfy all our needs in a courteous, professional, and personable manner. More

No response I have dealt with Maclin for a number of years and until the last 12-18 months I was quite satisfied with the service of the service department. Sinc I have dealt with Maclin for a number of years and until the last 12-18 months I was quite satisfied with the service of the service department. Since then it has changed for the worse. I had several instances of not getting my vehicle back when promised (routine service) or being called at 5:30 pm to say the vehicle is ready but they close at 6:00 and there is no way to get there in time. I recently called to get a service appointment, apparently everyone was busy, so I left a message to call me. Never received a call back. A few days later, I later received a cold call from a Maclin salesman who said, among other things, is there anything else he could help me with. I mentioned the message that had not been returned; he apologized for his service colleagues' inattention and said he would walk down the hall and have someone call right away. I'm still waiting...it's been several months now! I've moved on to Metro Ford service and they seem genuinely interested. More

Stephen Cheung, Finance Director was top-notch in every step of the way through the financing process. In addition to being knowledgeable & a consummate professional, Stephen is geniuinely polite & trustworthy. The Maclin manager runs a tight ship which ultimately left us with a positive feeling as a drove away in our fantastic truck. Thumbs up to all of you.
