Amanda and Walter in Service did a great job. No complaints there whatsoever - Pleasant, helpful, efficient. Oil change and replacement belt (under warranty) handled quickly and painlessly. This would be a 5-star review ... if it weren't for the obscenely-high prices of the quotes on some of the service my vehicle needed. As a simple example: - $158 in labour (the hour rate) ... to install a new battery ... while performing other service items. Installing a new battery takes 20 minutes if you DON'T know what you're doing ... an experienced mechanic should be able to accomplish this task in 10 minutes or less, especially if the vehicle is already in the shop with the hood up while performing other service. - $1100 in labour quoted to install a replacement alternator. You can re-and-re an entire engine for $1500 at any normal shop. Unless the alternator is somewhere between the engine block and the firewall and requires engine removal (it isn't, for the record) this labour quote is ludicrous. - Needless to say, I have an experienced mini mechanic doing the work elsewhere ... with 100% OEM parts ... for a fraction of the cost. Can't say enough positive things about the staff ... the quotes, on the other hand ... More

When my 2007 mini broke down on Dec 24th, I had it towed to the dealership. When they reopened, I was already back in Rochester NY.
