I received some unfortunate legal news today surrounding my termination at London Honda, as a result I am going to share my story. In 2018 I sustained a physical injury and went to see my doc surrounding my termination at London Honda, as a result I am going to share my story. In 2018 I sustained a physical injury and went to see my doctor. After this visit I was sent to the hospital for further X-rays and testing. During this time the doctors came across something incidental - my lymph nodes were swollen and there were concerns that I may have lymphoma. Following this, I was being sent to more X-rays, multiple MRIs & even a biopsy. I did not feel comfortable sharing this information with my employer, nor did I feel I should have to as the severity was still unknown. However they knew I was having issues surrounding my health. As a result, I was let go, during what was perhaps the most difficult chapter of my life. I was told “it’s a business” yet the day I was let go they had a new hire with the same last name as the sales manager. It’s a family business, that’s for sure. In terms of performance, I sold 20 cars the month before during COVID with no online leads. To this day I still do not understand why I was let go while going through medical trials that could have been life or death. More
