Thank you for submitting your review expressing concerns regarding your purchase experience at our store. We appreciate your feedback. After pulling your file and discussing the purchase with our Sales Manager Kevin, our records evidence the purchase price at $17,600 which included an original cash back amount of $3600 where the price of the car would’ve been $14K. You in fact, received $5600 cash back which brings the purchase price of the 2013 Elantra to $12,000. You also purchased an extended warranty and a premium tire package on top of that. When in our Finance office, you were shown the CarProof which did evidence a rear-end collision claim with damage to rear-center of the vehicle for an incident in August of 2013. You signed off on the CarProof and went ahead with the purchase. A delivery date was set and a time of day selected. You did discuss backing out of this vehicle purchase with Clayton the following day after signing for the purchase & prior to picking up the 2013 Elantra. Clayton offered you an alternate solution on a new 2017 Hyundai Elantra which would have kept your payments in the range you wanted them to be. You were honest about not quite understanding how this would work in your favour. Clayton offered for you to come back to the store and show you the new quote on a 2017 and explain how this could be a solution to your concerns with the 2013. You decided to forego that offer and take the 2013 Elantra and keep the delivery appointment date and time, instead of discussing the alternate solution. Unfortunately, you were quite late for the appointment and thusly we had to move your car out of our delivery bay to handle other customers who were there to pick up their vehicles. It was discovered that the wrong tire package was installed on your car and when this was discussed, you decided to keep the tires installed and we would cut you a cheque for the $200 extra you paid on the premium tire & rim package. The extra set of keys were located which will be mailed together with the $200 for the tire package difference on our next cheque run. In hindsight, there were deficiencies in this process with our communication (we had your phone number inputted incorrectly) as well as we installed a different tire & rim package from what you ordered in error. We sincerely apologize for our communication shortfalls, however; we did offer several reasonable and fair solutions to come to a more agreeable resolve with regards to the 2013 Elantra you went home with. You chose not to pursue these options.

Thank you for submitting your review. I did go speak with Michelle who was working with you the day you drove your diesel up to our express Drive Thru, as well as our owner Greg, who was also in that day and not our Service Manager. The drive thru lube bay does get busy on Saturday mornings and it operates on a first come first serve basis. We are able to service 2 vehicles at a time, depending on the size of vehicle and each vehicle takes approximately 25-30 mins or so...for a regular oil change, Depending on how many vehicles you have in front of you, yes it could take some time before you enter the lube bay. With diesel trucks, depending on the brand/model; the price will vary and that is understandable. Diesels take more oil than 5 ltrs included in base quote, plus as you likely are aware, some diesels require semi-synthetic/synthetic which is an extra cost. We would simply charge you for the extra liters of oil, the extra cost of the specialty oil, & of course the filter is unique for the ECO Diesel Engine in your Dodge and more costly. It's a fairly new and not very common engine, so no; we didn't show one in our regular inventory. The cost of your particular filter is significantly higher at $75 approximately. With these types of vehicles, we've only done a couple vehicles of your engine type, so we don't always have the filters or the oil in our inventory. We know how much others charge for a diesel oil change. We still beat most pricing out there. Your vehicle would cost you here, around the $259.95 mark. 3 hours waiting for an oil change in our express drive-thru lube bay has never happened in the 4 years I've worked here. I confirmed with Michelle the wait in line outside the drive-thru was unusually long that morning, but once inside the bay; she did do some research for your filter and oil type and then she searched for the oil and filter in our database of inventory to find we didn't have it. The other vehicle may've been in the lube bay at the same time as your truck, as I mentioned we usually do try to service two at a time. It's unfortunate we didn't have the specialty oil or filter in stock at the time you were here, but to be fair to our parts department; in 4 years we've only serviced a few with your engine model so it's costly to keep in stock. Should you wish to take advantage of our low-pricing for your vehicle's oil change, we'll arrange to get your vehicle into one of our regular bays and ensure the required oil & filter are here for your appointment. We can offer the same pricing as we would in our lube bay. Your vehicle will likely take about an hour or more to change the oil. Because your engine type is an exception, our staff on shift that day, wasn't as familiar with the parts required as most other diesel engines. I am not sure of the process for ordering parts at the last minute on a Saturday but will inquire. I understand your time is valuable and I apologize for the inconvenience.
