Car Purchase My purchase of a previously owned VW Jetta from Kia of Hamilton was easy and uncomplicated. The salesperson, Matt Garofalo, was friendly, pleasant to My purchase of a previously owned VW Jetta from Kia of Hamilton was easy and uncomplicated. The salesperson, Matt Garofalo, was friendly, pleasant to deal with and professional. I never felt any pressure to buy. We took the car out for a test drive and I did not immediately decide to buy the car but opted to test drive another car at another dealership. I returned the next day to inform Matt that I preferred the VW from Kia and we proceeded to make a deal that was very satisfactory to me. The car was ready for pick up the next day and I am please with my purchase. I would recommend this dealership without hesitation. More
stereo replacement bad receiption and blue tooth not working and whole unit went black. had unit replaced even though after service looked into it they said reception wa bad receiption and blue tooth not working and whole unit went black. had unit replaced even though after service looked into it they said reception was fine. new unit is better but still not what I call good reception, looking into now paying for an antenna booster through 3rd party stereo shop which is odd as I haven't had to do this with any new car in the last 20 years. My fiance and I walked into Kia of Hamilton to have a look around with the idea of trading in my 2-door for a 4-door eventually. We were welcomed by John Selsek who was friendly and seemed genuine. He John gave us some ideas and options including his ability to locate and bring in any type of used vehicle we were interested in due to the companie's Car Nation network. John did not pressure us in any way and we felt he was very trustworthy. When we were ready to make a deal I emailed John to make sure he would be there when we visited ( we live up north ). John showed us several vehicles and he let us take as much time as we needed. We were able to haggle a bit on the price which made me feel like a champ when the deal was done. The finance person at the dealership offered but did not attempt to push any of the extras on me, I appreciate that. Part of the deal was that a block heater was to be installed on the car. Unfortunately I didn't notice that it was missing until I was back home with the new car. I emailed John and he was apologetic and said they'd rectify that the next time I was down. An honest mistake as it was just a verbal agreement at the time of sale. The next time we were down I emailed ahead of time and John had it taken care of for us. I have already recommended John and Kia of Hamilton to friends and will continue to do so. More
