The service team and Norm/Service technician have indeed restored in the Toyota brand name. Have been a loyal customer for more than 40 years. Have had a few negative experience with various Toyota service restored in the Toyota brand name. Have been a loyal customer for more than 40 years. Have had a few negative experience with various Toyota service centers in western Canada and started losing faith in the brand. But Norm and the folks at Jim Pattison were able to change all that. I’ve bought a brand new 2023 Venza Hybrid XLE in Alberta. In the first year, it started giving some minor concerns, but every time I took it in to have it checked out, they always had excuses for everything I told them. I was tired of their attitude and stopped asking for help since it was more aggravating than fixing those minor concerns but this time, the concern was more serious. A phone call to JPToyota, Chris assured me that it was covered under warranty. Although they were very busy, these folks told me that reheat could fit me in with a quick inspection rather leaving the car for the day. They made time to see my car for a quick prognosis by Norm/the service advisor and as soon as he pinpointed the problem, he quickly had the parts ordered and replaced the defective parts within 2 days. Amazing job. Since he learned that we are one family car and just moved here from Alberta and needing a mode of transportation, he arranged to have the defective parts replaced with minimal time loss or additional car to use while it was in repair. I appreciated the fact that there were no down time involved except the time they needed to replace the parts which took about an hour or so. Great work all around from these folks. You guys deserved a big KUDO from me. Without this positive experience, I will probably look to other brand name for a future vehicle. Your team have made Toyota proud. This is a ten out of ten review for you all. THANK YOU. More
bought my used 5 year old Matrix from JP Toyota and got extended 5 year warranty due to very low mileage. I took it in twice a year for the oil change and check up then also bought winter tires with tire extended 5 year warranty due to very low mileage. I took it in twice a year for the oil change and check up then also bought winter tires with tire storage and switched them out during the twice annual service. Even fell for their, "oh, its time to have this (not needed) service done....once. Every single time, in the semiannual service, they said they checked the spare tire and confirmed it even when I questioned them on it. Move up 5 years when I am out of town and get a flat due to a nail and then find out that my spare is nearly flat as well, having been neglected for many years. Worse was, my tires were not technically safe to drive on as cracking between the treads was apparent on all four summer tires. On top of that, during one recall, there was a piece of plastic (broken from something) left in my cup holder compartment and I then realized I couldn't move the driver's seat back as much as I could previously. When I asked the service department about that all they claimed that it must have been found within my car in the cleaning. That is why I stopped having my car serviced as JP Toyota. Service support is horrible. The car is great, but I won't be returning to JP Toyota for its replacement or any service, ever again. More

On arrival I could see it far exceeded my expectations - it was in impeccable condition, had low kms and was ready for a new owner. Everything was clearly laid out - from start to finish, including my very first questions on their web site. They made this purchase one of the most straightforward ones I've ever encountered. I'd highly recommend the team at JP Toyota (Victoria). Thank you from a grateful customer. More

Aaron also kept me informed at every step of the process, which I appreciated. I would highly recommend seeking Aaron out if looking to purchase a vehicle from Jim Pattison Toyota Victoria. The caveat to my review is my experience with the Financial Services Manager (Giles). He should take a page out of Aaron’s book as it relates to Customer care. Anyone purchasing a vehicle from your business should be treated respectfully rather than in a bullying, condescending and dismissive manner because one does not get what they want in the deal made. Thank you. More
My experience in purchasing a new 2003 Prius was made easy and painless because of the professionalism and competency of the staff, namely Aaron Ehman and Murray Donais. I was very happy with the price t easy and painless because of the professionalism and competency of the staff, namely Aaron Ehman and Murray Donais. I was very happy with the price they offered me for my trade in, the paint protection and maintenance options, the orientation on the vehicle, the quality paperwork and the insurance options on site. They all made this happen after 5PM. A+ More
My husband and I just purchased a beautiful Rav 4 yesterday from Nick Bhalla. He was very kind and helpful, and even helped us unload our trade in (which was very full as we weren't expecting to find yesterday from Nick Bhalla. He was very kind and helpful, and even helped us unload our trade in (which was very full as we weren't expecting to find something so perfect, so soon). His knowledge of all the Toyota products was extensive and he was able to answer any questions we had. I would recommend him to my friends. More
I took my Tacoma in because it was showing an error about the blind spot monitor. When I first called I to book an appointment I was told it would take an hour to trouble shoot, after I dropped off the car the blind spot monitor. When I first called I to book an appointment I was told it would take an hour to trouble shoot, after I dropped off the car I was then told it would take two hours to re-calibrate the system and they would call if there were any issues. Two hours later I was called and was told that it was not fixed because both, yes both of the rear bumper sensors would need to be replaced and to do that it they would need to remove the entire back bumper. Each sensor was going to be over $800.00 and then another $1000.00 to do the work brining the total to over $3000.00 after taxes etc...... I was more than a little shocked it took 2 hours to tell me there was an error with the sensors, as far as I know they plug it into the computer to it and read out the error code..... The second part was that both the sensors could break at the same time. One I could see... maybe, but having both break on the same day! I am still not convinced this is even the issue, if I turn the blind spot monitor off and drive for a few minutes then turn it back on it will start to work. (about 80% of the time). I am then able to drive and the BSM works just fine. I have tested this to be sure. If I have someone in my blind spot the indicator in the mirror work. If I am stopped and back up it will beep if there is an object behind me. The other 20% of the time I will get the errors message and beeps to check my blind spot monitor. When that happens I just turn the system off and try again in a few minutes to get it to work. To me, if both of the sensors were dead and needed replaced then the would not work at all. Once things dry out a little I will crawl under the truck to check the connections myself. I will not be spending any more of my $$$$ at anything Jim Pattison owns.
