Service department cannot be trusted: brought my nearly new toyota tundra truck into this dealership after finding a mouse nest under the plastic engine cap and an obvious coolant leak - pretty straightfor new toyota tundra truck into this dealership after finding a mouse nest under the plastic engine cap and an obvious coolant leak - pretty straightforward that the coolant hose had to be replaced. A couple hours of labour and a new hose should have done the trick. He quoted me too high saying it was a four hour job and would cost over $600. Would be ready by end of day. Mistake I made when dealing with the shifty service guy was in sharing that I was going to file a comprehensive claim through auto insurance and I needed his photos and the invoice. Well, what had originally been guestimated at a four hour job quickly turned into me showing up 6 hours later only to be told the following by 'shifty':... 'oh ya ya...hose was needed and we didn't have in stock. Much more complicated than thought. Job is not done today. I will call you tomorrow' . When I asked about the new price, it had doubled of course from $600 ish to $1200 ish. I had expected better of JIm Pattison group but clearly pattison isn't running this service department, his goons are. I couldn't even bum an Uber ride out of these xxxxxxx....terrible dealership. Any time you go in for installation or basic servicing, they have overbooked and think nothing of you sitting through the day, waiting hours for a job that easily could have been done in two hours. They don't so much as offer you a shuttle ride elsewhere. Advice to anyone considering a purchase of a vehicle at Pattison Toyota or the use of this service department: Just DON'T.... Find another dealership! Its not worth the stress. More
Had a bad experience with Services area. I’ve come to my appointment due to a noise in my car and after a few hours the responsible person gave me the feedback that the problem was the engin I’ve come to my appointment due to a noise in my car and after a few hours the responsible person gave me the feedback that the problem was the engine mount and it would be done. Everything was fine and I went home to pick up the car the next day. After some time on the next day, the service person texted me saying that instead of changing the engine mount I’d have to replace many other undercarriage parts and the cost (that was covered by warranty at the beginning) would now be $8,000 (EIGHT THOUSAND DOLLARS). Now explain something to me: how can a service area professional say that an engine mount needs to be replaced if they didn’t even check underneath the car?? How come a professional company like TOYOTA give me such a wrong information making me go home calmly and then changing the WHOLE STORY and charging me $8000? Regardless of the end of this shameful story for your SERVICE DEPARTMENT, please be aware of how you do your services so that you can be more respectful to your clients, since you are representing a great brand like Toyota. Changing now to 1 start because after all that, when I called the body part shop the staff had zero empathy to try to solve any problem AND ASKED ME TO CALL SOMEWHERE ELSE. Great job you’re doing here Toyota. 👍🏼 More
I have to say Alan Nguyen, our salesman was amazing. Although I hate the waiting around while sales people go back and forth to the "Manager", he made the wait worthwhile and fun. He has a great sense of humour and was extremely knowledgable and thorough. It goes without saying, I love Toyota, but now I wouldn't buy from anyone else but Alan. More
I had a very bad experience when I went to purchase a new car. No sales advisors approached me to offer assistance, and when I asked to speak with one, no one came to help. Even the managers were standing in car. No sales advisors approached me to offer assistance, and when I asked to speak with one, no one came to help. Even the managers were standing in the showroom but did not engage with me. It was a very disappointing experience, and I ended up going to Open Road, where I had a much better experience. More

He was fast to answer all our questions and helped us out as much as he could. Alan was knowledgeable and so pleasant to work with. He was very helpful and patient in explaining all the features of the car. His friendly and caring approach made the process very easy for us. I'll definitely recommend him to my family and friends. This is the fastest and easiest car purchase I have ever experienced. Great buying experience and big THANKS to Alan Nguyen. We are very happy with our 2024 Toyota Grand Highlander. I went here to buy a car and the salesman brushed me off like I had no business being there, so we took our 50,000 cash to Richmond toyota and bought a RAV4. Terrible service, poor organization, poor customer experience, and non existent communication between departments, and zero options to provide direct feedback. Manager is just sitting there while 7 r experience, and non existent communication between departments, and zero options to provide direct feedback. If you are looking to get good quality body work done for your vehicle, this business is not recommended at all. I had the impression that due to this being a reputable business that I would receive the best your vehicle, this business is not recommended at all. I had the impression that due to this being a reputable business that I would receive the best possible service for my car, but I was wrong. I would highly recommend getting your work done by a private shop, as I believe they would care more about their reputation and deliver high quality craftsmanship. When I first picked up the serviced vehicle and inspected the work, I found numerous issues with the repair. They had used very low quality replacement parts such as a scratched headlight and a broken bumper, a poorly fitted fender and bumper, and the side mirror hung loosely in the wind while driving. While taking off the bumper for the repair, it seems that they handled it very carelessly and broke the passenger side fender flare, all the while denying that they broke it. The repair was so bad that the fender flare shot off while driving on the highway. The unfortunate part is that they were claiming that it was already broken, despite me even showing them the freshly broken brackets and images of the car beforehand. They agreed with the underwhelming craftsmanship after I reported the issues, and they agreed to fix all the issues apart from the broken fender flare, which they want me to pay for as well. I called ICBC and reported this issue to them as well, but they were no help, saying that it is up to me and the body shop to resolve the issue with the broken fender flare. Ultimately, I am still driving my car despite all the issues, and it is extremely frustrating that it seems they do not value their work ethics and instead try to get the work done with minimal effort. The fender flare is not even expensive and I am okay with paying for the part, but I am disgusted with the way that they still asked me to contribute despite them breaking the part and denying that they broke it. One of their staff even had the audacity to tell me that my ‘09 car is old. Do you determine the quality of the service depending on how new or old the vehicle is? @Jim Pattison Toyota, is this really how you treat your customers, or is it just me who thinks that this is terrible customer service? Be careful about the service department. I sent my car in to replace the transmission fluid. Which should cost around $400. When I was waiting, I received a call from the mechanic. He s I sent my car in to replace the transmission fluid. Which should cost around $400. When I was waiting, I received a call from the mechanic. He said your car was noisy because the water pump was almost worn out. It would cost $300 for the parts and $750 for the labor. I said go ahead. But when I received my car, the paper said the water pump was worn out + leakage at the flex pipe from the muffler , which was never mentioned before. The car was still noisy as before after I spent $1100 more. This Lexus car actually is only at around $160K KM on its mileage. I contacted them back, basically, what they were saying was: You got a very good deal from here! I was lucky enough to spend that money there! They are making more money from my visit anyway. More
