Worst experience of my life. Treated me like I was a criminal and interrogated me until I signed papers , told them to give me my car keys back but said ...no no, we will talk some more. Told me they co criminal and interrogated me until I signed papers , told them to give me my car keys back but said ...no no, we will talk some more. Told me they couldn't get the car I wanted but told my boyfriend they they could get it for him. I did ask them if they treated me like this because I was a female, to which I got no response.I gave them a$1000 so I could do an overnight test drive and they called me 3 times to see when it was coming back. Then told me I HAD to buy a car from them as they aren't reimbursing my $1000. I told them where to go and went and bought a Land Rover ( absolutely the best experience ever) I will never recommend them to anyone. Also my engine light was on my older Infiniti and they told me that I needed a new steering wheel( I already knew it was a PCV valve, but they insisted that the steering wheel was causing my engine light to come on. I recently purchased a used Audi from Infiniti South Edmonton, multiple issues that came up that would never get me back in this business. 1. After not accepting my initial offer I agreed to pay the Edmonton, multiple issues that came up that would never get me back in this business. 1. After not accepting my initial offer I agreed to pay their asking price, and as advertised on their websites there are not additional fee's, the price you see if what you pay plus tax. The dealer tried to push an additional $800 on top for their EI certification, oil change, gas, detailing, and window etching. I refused this, and was told they cannot get rid of all of that charge as the window etching is already done but they were willing to drop down to $500 extra. I still refused to pay this service and pushed for the as advertised price, and only after sending a screenshot of AMVIC's all in advertising regulations did they agree to their asking price with no additional fee's, however they refused to detail the car and put any fuel in the car, not a big deal I can clean a car and put gas in it. Furthermore, the window etching that was "already done, first thing we do as we have lots of cars on the lot" was never done, this was a blatant lie to try to push me to agree to the extra fee's. 2. I was provided their passing Mechanical Fitness Inspection and this honestly has led me to believe that the vehicle was not even put on a hoist to inspect it. Multiple items were checked off as compliant on the inspection that do not even exist on this automobile such as - Clutch, Drum Brakes, King Pins, Leaf Springs, Rear Wiper. I still signed the inspection just to get my car and get out of the dealership. And as found by my own mechanic the day after the car was picked up(took in for a service) one of the gas tank straps was not even connected to the car, the bolt hole going into the body was stripped out and the gas tank was sagging downward a few inches and was loose. For a thorough inspection it is shocking something like a loose gas tank could be missed. In short, do not pay any extra fee's they try to push and tell you cannot be removed, and I would highly recommend taking the vehicle to your own mechanic for a proper pre-purchase inspection. More
One of the worst customer service that I experienced as far back as I can remember. The sale person came across as professional though, But another guy he called his manager, was absolutely Horrible to de far back as I can remember. The sale person came across as professional though, But another guy he called his manager, was absolutely Horrible to deal with. He had no personality, kept on lying again and again & absolutely unethical business practices. I am surprised he actually has a job in customer service, that too of a manager. I am definitely going to complaint to head office & for sure will complaint to Amvic. He was so desperate to sell, he even made me sign on a blank piece of paper & took my credit card giving some stupid reason. He has no knowledge whatsoever about cars & most importantly customer service. The mechanical inspection report he showed me had some issues mentioned by the mechanic, but he kept on saying, “don't worry about that. We are honest & transparent thats why we mention even smallest details”. The issues are very minor & not even worth fixing. The issues mentioned were 1. Ac not working 2. Check engine light( for failed catalytic converter) When i asked him if these are small issues, then fix for me. On that he comes back saying. Oh if we fix that, then we will be adding another 2000-3000 to the price. Thats when I could not tolerate his face & walked out. More
