Never Trust This Dealership We spoke with a salesperson named Francis shortly before 1 pm this afternoon over the phone. We told him we wanted to test drive a 2014 4-cylinder Accord Coupe with 6-speed manual transmission. We made a test drive appointment at 2:30 pm after he confirmed they had the car. The dealership appeared to be pretty quiet (with only salespersons wandering and kids of the staff running around) when we arrived shortly after 2:30 pm. The reception was busying chatting with her friends and didn't even bother to greet the customers. We waited for around 15 mins. Then a guy came to us and let us know Francis was not available to meet with us and that the car we requested was sold this morning! It's obviously a lie since we spoke with Francis less than 2 hours ago. We were very mad because we drove an hour down to this dealership for the test drive. Our word of advice: Stay away from this dealership and NEVER TRUST their salespersons!!! More
This dealership has probably the worst sales team, particularly in the used car department, that I have ever seen. I visited Lakeshore Honda interested in purchasing a new Honda Fit or a certifie particularly in the used car department, that I have ever seen. I visited Lakeshore Honda interested in purchasing a new Honda Fit or a certified used Fit and/or Civic. I wanted to trade-in a 2011 Honda Accord and was initially told by the new car sales staff that unless I was interested in purchasing immediately then he wasn't interested in helping me. By the way, all of the dealers that use this strategy as opposed to building a relationship with clients will no doubt continue to be mediocre. Anyway, after being told by a new car salesman that unless I was going to purchase something immediately, no one was willing to help me, it was communicated to me that no one in new cars has any idea the approximate value of my trade-in and that I need to see someone in used cars. Anyone who has traded in a vehicle before knows that having at least an estimate of trade in value impacts affordability on a new vehicle purchase so I proceeded to walk over to their used cars department as the new car salesman suggested. So I mentioned to the used car salesman that someone from new cars sent me back to get an appraisal on my Accord, he immediately told me that we don't do that here and that I should Google other dealers' pricing on the car or take a look at Auto Trader. He then said that you'll never get anywhere near that but that's what I should do...were too busy to appraise vehicles unless we're going to buy something immediately. Obviously, they aren't in the business of helping clients. He ended the conversation by saying I don't know maybe its worth this much "..... ". Whats more disappointing is that I've recently moved into the neighbourhood and would have loved to build a relationship with sales and service staff from my local Honda dealer in Etobicoke. Unfortunately, after this experience they've lost both my sales and service business indefinitely. More
