"Awsome experience."

Our car had problems with shifting in 3-4-5th-gears. It was shuddering and vibrating badly. We went for a road test with the trans tech and confirmed the condition. Our extended warranty had expired but our service advisor talked to the GM warranty people and got us covered. The warranty people said to take the trans apart which was done and the trans was damaged beyond repair. The trans was then replaced with a new unit as well as the drive line that had a seized joint. All this work was done under the extended warranty and we only had to pay the deductible cost. My wife and I were totally surprised by this excellent service and recommend any one to take their vehicle there.

"service issue"

I had a 1 PM appointment at HO and brought the Equinox in to have the winter tires removed and replaced and wanted to have the winter tires installed on steel wheels. A re-call for the windshield wiper transmission under warranty was performed as well. I question the length of time at 3 and a half hours to r & r the tires and perform the warranty work.

"Customer service failure"

She outright refused to give me the service any customer deserves , and/or has the right to. She didn’t care, she didn’t smile she stomped off and then lied in a quote saying I needed parts that I didn’t, I know this because I got my vehicle fixed elsewhere no parts required just a minor repair. Paula’s behaviour was totally uncalled for. She acted like a ridiculous child.

"Service Manger Paula, "

Paula, Service Manager refused to submit my warranty claim to GM. She basically said she did not care one bit about dong business with me, I was a totally invaluable customer and that I could just go she wasn't even going to try with GM. The service advisor was doing his best to get her to help me but she wouldn't. When I raised my voice she finally grabbed my keys and got a tech to put it up on the hoist to see what the problem even was and then gave me a quote of $240 saying a few things broken and GM warranty would cover anything but she wouldn't even submit it. I took my truck and left and went to a local muffler shop and he got it done in 15 minutes for $33. Paula chose to argue what she didn't even take the time to look into longer than it actually took to fix the problem and make me happy. Paula, I hope pointing this out to you helps you be a better "Customer" Service Manager, because today you were a total failure at it!

"Absolutely amazing service"

Our family was in Parksville on holiday, when our van experienced engine trouble. The dealership was able to get us in quickly that day.We had the van towed there just after lunch. We expected to stay one more night as we thought repairs could be extensive. Not only did the mechanic diagnose the problem quickly (fuel pump), but he had it finished just after dinner. Incredible. We were saved a hotel bill and a whole lot of grief. Thank you Harris Oceonside. You're the best.

"Amazing Service"

We were recently in Parksville on holidays, and we had gotten a flat tire on our drive. It was early in the morning, and the only place open was only able to do a plug. We didn't feel comfortable driving back to Alberta on a plug, so we brought the car in to get a patch done. We also needed an oil change done, so we decided to have it done at the same time. We had an absolutely amazing experience!! The service department was super friendly, great pricing, and had my car back to me within 2 hours!! They even washed my car and vacuumed the floors! I am tempted to go back to Parksville again when I need work done, just so that I get to deal with them again!

"Highway Robbery "

- Average middle class oceanside resident.

The service department was very friendly, however they really overcharged. We were shocked at the cost of what is a seemingly simple repair. And not only myself but friends of mine have had unsatisfactory dealings with this dealership. I dont recommend getting vehicle work done here, its highway robbery.

"Service Plus"

Just about a year ago I purchased a 2016 GMC truck from this dealership. From my dealings with Dale Florell and ultimately Steve Peters this was a pleasant experience. A year later I feel I must point out why it continues to be a great place to deal. Today I dropped in because I had found a way to disable the "sync" mode on my iPhone. Chris Berg was kind enough to walk me though it and fix the problem in less than 5 minutes. A smile and a handshake go a long way with a technically challenged individual such as myself. Richard Stewart in service has offered to touch up a scratch on the roof for me once we get some sunny weather thereby avoiding a stop at a body shop. From oil changes to snow tire mounting and balancing and storage to prompt service on minor recalls and the washing and vacuuming of my vehicle each and every time I bring it in.....I'm very impressed. Unlike my previous experiences this business ranks highly in my estimation and I will make my next purchase here.
