I just wanted to say that this was my first time buying from a car lot. Always bought used from auctions or private sales. I was a little worried but when I saw the car I wanted online I called and spoke t from a car lot. Always bought used from auctions or private sales. I fell in love with both. I chose a 2005 Hyundai Sanata and am so happy! It is everything I wanted in a car. Had RJ not been as friendly and helpful I would not have bought from the dealership and would have ended up buying from an unknown source. And then Chris also was very helpful and friendly and showed me the wonders of my new car! When and if I buy again it will be here where I was treated fairly and very kindly. Ahmed sold my wife Kandace and I a new Rondo from the showroom floor. He was courteous and attentive at all times without being pushy. He did make it clear all the while that his intent was to do business as we made it obvious that we were not wasting his time either. He was not afraid to ask for the sale when the time was right and the negotiation went quite smooth. All of the staff were extremely warm and friendly, seemingly happy to be part of the team. The business manager was the same. He was forewarned by me not to expect to make any money from us as financing was not on the table and do to the warranty coverage on the new Kia he would not be left with much of a chance. He was very respectful of this which capped off our overall experience as top quality. The parts and service staff seem to be on top of things as well, friendly and knowledgable. Footnote....I was in the car business for six years for Jim Pattison on the mainland and Joe Cunningham in Nanaimo both as a salesman and a service writer. My wife and I looked at Honda and Hyundai as well but were most impressed by the product and services we found at Harris Kia. We will recommend this store to anyone shopping for a car. My experience at Harris Kia was excellent. I went in to look at the Hybrids and was met with people that were more than helpful at educating me on Hybrid technology. They offered to let me take one home overnight to get a real sense of whether this was the auto for me, so I did. I loved it, but returned it in the morning with the intention of shopping around other dealers and autos because that is what I figured a good consumer should do. Ultimately, I never left Harris Kia because they made an offer that I felt was fair and reasonable - plus they knew I really really liked this car. I bought an Optima Premium Hybrid and I have been smiling ever since. Ryan and Chris, your exuberance and knowledge initially got me excited about this car enough to make me less interested in looking at the competition. I had initially contacted the Kia dealer in Victoria, as I live in Victoria. The Sales Manager there gave me a cut and dry offer that made me feel really discouraged because I couldn't accept what was offer I live in Victoria. Instantly, Jeremy initiated a discussion about my circumstances and after I had explained it...he said he would "make it work for me". And....he did! With the help of RJ and Ahmed and a few days of ensuring the deal was exactly what would work for me and them, Harris Kia brought my 2012 Soul to me in Victoria!
