In early April we purchased a 2012 Kia Rio from Kia dealership in Nanaimo. We felt that we were listened to with regard to our budget, and the young salesman was extremely helpful, cheerful, and clearly knew the product. Both my wife and I test-drove the vehicle, and were given all the details about its various features. We were even given what we consider to be a fair trade-in on our old vehicle, which was really appreciated, as we are both retired, and living on pensions. More

Easiest car purchase ever! I have been looking at and researching the Kia Soul for 8 months now. Today I went to just go look at a couple of them. I ended up driving my new So I have been looking at and researching the Kia Soul for 8 months now. Today I went to just go look at a couple of them. I ended up driving my new Soul home! I knew the car was the perfect choice for me, but what made the experience so awesome, was the staff. Nick was one of the best car salesman I have ever dealt with. He listened to exactly what I was looking for and went across the lot and got the car I ended up buying. I loved that there was no pressure at all. He didn't try to upsell me, he made the entire process relaxed. From Nick, to John, to Jan, to random employees stopping by to congratulate me, I felt a friendly, warm, professional atmosphere. I was also very impressed to be taken out to the service desk and introduced to Mike and Keeran. They both chatted with me and gave me a rundown on how it all works when I bring my car in for servicing. Everyone at the dealership was great! By the time I walked out, with keys in hand, I felt like family! I've never felt so comfortable and assured that this was the right choice and right price at any dealership! Great experiences both times! Last year I bought my first car from a dealership. I was amazed with how well Rachel treated me, I wasn't sure what to bring or what I needed but she calmed my nerves and answered every e-mail and question I had for her. She pulled a few strings for me and got me in a 2014 Ford Fiesta. It wasn't my dream car at all, but she assured me that in a year or two I would be able to upgrade into a new car. This past winter I was having problems with my car in the snow as it was to light, I e-mailed Rachel Roy and she got me into a brand new Kia Forte. After the first day of emailing Rachel she called me that night telling me what I was able to get and to come in the next day after work. She was so friendly and welcoming both times I dealt with her, it was like we were long time friends. She made sure I knew everything I was getting into and made sure I was comfortable and that I knew the mechanics who would be doing any work on my car if I decided to bring it there for all the work. All in all it was an awesome experience! More

After hours, days, weeks of searching I stumbled upon a ford escape at Nanaimo Kia. They just finished detailing it when Cameron suggested that we take it for a test drive. He was very personable, fun, and answered any of my crazy question. There was no pressure to make a decision right away which I liked.. After taking a second test drive, Cameron was beyond patient, while I had to deal with the bank. After a long day of going back and forth both Cameron and sales manager, john were extremely kind and helpful. I met almost all of the staff and everyone made you feel so very special. Almost like you were the first and only customer they have had. The owner, Dave Harris, made a special effort to meet me and take time to talk to me. I could probably write a thousand words and those words could not describe how good my experience was. I still cannot believe how well I was treated. Oh yeh! The optima is one of the best if not best car I have ever driven or bought. More

Initially we were looking to purchased a used Kia Soul from Harris Kia. We took it for a test drive and the sales person, was friendly and helpful. We decided to buy it and went through financing at Kia with Jan Cox. Ms Cox was awesome and we were quite comfortable with her. Our problem was that the process took longer than we anticipated (five days). Our car had died and we were renting a car, so time was an issue. When we phoned (live in Port Alberni), we were told that we were not "qualified" for an older used car, but they were quite sure we could most likely have no problem with financing a new car. That was a bit of a head scratcher for my wife and I. While we were excited at the prospect of buying a brand new Kia Soul, it was tempered by the fact that the process was drawn out. We finally received word that we were approved and that financing was available for us; we decided to buy the new car - lovely car by the way, 2017 Kia Soul LX. We drove from Port Alberni to sign the papers in order to take possession of the new car but were told that our car had been accidentally sent to Victoria, but not to worry as an employee was sent down to drive it back to Nanaimo. That took the excitement factor our of the purchase. We waited for some time before our new car finally arrived. Once there, the process went quickly and smoothly. Save for the time factor, that we live out of town, and the strange glitch at the end (Car in Victoria), generally we were treated well. More

We have just started our search and were initially looking for a SUV, but stumbled upon the white Optima in the showroom which is a beautiful car. Who knows, we might just come away with two vehicles, no promises though! This was one of the best experiences we have had with a dealership - Cameron is terrific to work with, John more than helpful, and the receptionists are great.
