We apologize for any confusion and frustration regarding the diagnostic fee. Our goal is to provide clear and honest communication, and it is unfortunate that you did not see the value in diagnosing the starter circuit, misfire codes, fuel pressure problems, and right front wheel bearing. It was explained to you that there are more potential issues with your vehicle and that FURTHER diagnosis would be needed. Our shop rate is hourly and nobody expects a trained General Motors mechanic to work for free at Gus Brown. We respect our employees as well as our customers.
