Thorough, but way too slow. I took my Sante Fe in for an oil change (service 1), so of course they do an inspection and found my brakes need replacing. Fine, but why did it take 2-1/2 hours to get to that point? I didn't expect to be sitting at Hyundai all day on christmas week. I suspect like at many dealerships, appointments don't matter, they get to wait until the walk-ins are taken care of. Or they overbook even though I called almost 2 weeks ago. They gave me a ride home to wait while the work was being done, but it wasn't done before the shuttle driver was off, so that tacked on an extra $25 taxi bill for me to be able to get my car to use in the evening. Then Jason had the nerve to say "You should have called me, I'd have picked you up". Easy to say. Now I'm the chump for finding my own ride. Too little too late on that offer. I also spent a lot of time in the new lounge, which I must say is poorly arranged--there are more seats facing away from the television than facing it. Only 3 chairs face the screen, 3 face the tiled wall and 5 ( 2 chairs, 3 ottomans) sit under the tv facing those watching the screen. Quite uncomfortable. Brian the mechanic was wonderful, stayed late to get my car done the same day I brought it in; Dan kindly offered him a time swap on Christmas eve to facilitate that, but it shouldn't have been necessary. Naturally the unexpected $1300 bill has soured my experience in your nice new facility; hopefully it works out better next time. More

Rust proofing In June 2012, my husband and I bought a used Hyundai car and were approached on buying the Diamond-Kote rust inhibitor box to be installed instead of In June 2012, my husband and I bought a used Hyundai car and were approached on buying the Diamond-Kote rust inhibitor box to be installed instead of undercoating. We were told the Diamond-Kote would replace the need to undercoat. Recently I had the Hyundai to my mechanic and he said that there was rust appearing and that the car needed to be undercoated. When I took the car to the dealership they agreed that there was rust and one of the staff suggested that the car be undercoated. Why did I spend the price $899.00 + tax on a product that apparently doesn't work??? I will still have to pay the cost of undercoating to rustproofing and maintain my Hyundai car. More

Dan Wightman, Service Manager, is always around to greet his Customers and go out of his way to make sure thT all of your needs are understood and met. His staff are great - knowledgeable and friendly. I have even taken my sons's Ford and daughters Toyota to Guelph Hyundai because I know that they will help to correct all issues. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend Guelph Hyundai to any of my friends! More

The new building is really quite nice, and the staff are friendly, but I only gave three stars for customer service because of the scheduling issue. More

While I was having my oil change Jason worked on getting me a quote for a winter tire package. He came into the customer lounge and sat with me and answered my numerous questions about winter tires. I have placed my order for my tires and look foward to visiting your dealership again to have them installed. My salesperson, Wes, was coming into work while I was there and he remembered my name without missing a beat. Amazing considering he meets so many people every day and I purchased my car well over a year ago. It's the personal service that makes the difference. I have recommended this dealership to anyone looking for a new vehicle. More
