I purchased my 2014 Jeep Cherokee Trail Hawk from Grande Prairie Chrysler on May 30 2023 After I purchased the Jeep I discovered on my own I was sold a vehicle with an open recall. The recall 23V338 states Prairie Chrysler on May 30 2023 After I purchased the Jeep I discovered on my own I was sold a vehicle with an open recall. The recall 23V338 states that the vehicle can catch on fire and not to park near any structures or vehicles. I was never told about the recall by anyone at GP Chrysler during or after the sale or even after bringing my vehicle back twice for service. I never would have purchased a vehicle with an open recall where the vehicle could catch on fire- a vehicle that I’m not supposed to park near any structures or other vehicles!!!!!!! The remedy for this recall is still currently under development. After I discovered the recall, I have made several calls to GP Chryslers. I have been told by one of the managers that they do not have to inform customers at the time of sale about recalls, I was told by my sales person that I was told about the recall then said oh sorry you weren’t told. Then told a manager would contact me. A week later still no contact from a manager till I called! And now still no call back as promised. Needless to say, I am not a happy customer! More
