I purchased a 2021 Hyundai Elantra, and within 2 days I started experiencing serious issues. The steering wheel was shaking and the car was pulling on the highway. I reported this immediately and brought the vehicle in right away. They initially told me it was an alignment issue and claimed it was fixed—but the problem was still there. After bringing it back again, I pointed out that the front driver-side tire was leaking, but they dismissed it and said nothing was wrong, I ended up finding the leak myself. Later on, they replaced a rear tire, claiming the uneven tread was causing the shaking and pulling. Meanwhile, the front tire I originally complained about was still not replaced, despite clearly having issues. It took them about a month and half just to replace that rear tire, and even after all that, the shaking problem STILL wasn’t resolved. Now they’re saying the issue is the rotors—but refusing to replace them because I’ve put more kilometers on the car over the past month and a half. That makes no sense considering I reported the issue within 48 hours of purchasing the vehicle. This was clearly a pre-existing problem that they failed to properly diagnose from the start. On top of that, the car has an ongoing starting issue that I’ve reported at least four times. Instead of properly investigating it, the manager was dismissive and spoke to me in a disrespectful way, essentially treating me like I didn’t know what I was talking about. This vehicle was sold as Certified Pre-Owned, and the inspection report states the brakes and rotors were in “excellent condition,” which is hard to believe given what I’m dealing with now. Overall, this has been an extremely frustrating experience—poor diagnosis, long delays, lack of accountability, and unprofessional customer service. I would not trust this dealership again. More
I recently had my vehicle serviced at Downtown Hyundai Toronto, and unfortunately, the experience was disappointing. Communication from the service advisor was not clear or professional. There was very little explanation provided about the work being recommended. Each time I visit, additional issues are pointed out and presented as necessary repairs. While these may be genuine concerns, the explanations lack transparency, which makes it difficult to feel confident in the recommendations. Additionally, I was told the vehicle had been washed as part of the complimentary service. However, when I went to pick up the car, it was not washed, and I had to retrieve it myself from the parking area. There was no assistance bringing the vehicle to the front. When this was pointed out, there was no apology or acknowledgment of the inconvenience. I also had to wait an additional 10–15 minutes without clear communication. Overall, the lack of communication, transparency, and customer service was not what I expected. I hope management looks into improving customer experience and accountability. More
Qauison charged an assessment fee before looking at a warranteed issue. Road tested, issue was re produced. Somehow the technician claimed they couldn't re produce the issue. Carrie is an assistant service manager and personable. She has to follow Quaison's unethical decision. Hyundai customer service is remarkably useless. No one appears to be trained in what they sell . The recalls , or campaigns on the vehicle places it into about 10 dealer visits within 3 years. More
Their sales representative Ronak Sharma sold me additional warranties and body guard and it literally doesnt cover anything at all. The most incompetent service department in the city. No communication. Absolutely horrible. The last three times I've gone in there, I've had the WORST experiences. Don't take the risk. I recently had my 2013 Santa Fe serviced for an engine issue at Downtown Hyundai and the service was great. The staff are very friendly and courteous. I had bought this vehicle from Downtown Hyundai originally and they have been an excellent dealership to deal with. I highly recommend this dealership. More
