This was the worst customer service experience I have ever received. Normally when you buy a brand new vehicle you do not expect after two weeks to be in the service center with a flat tire. The Honda ever received. Normally when you buy a brand new vehicle you do not expect after two weeks to be in the service center with a flat tire. The Honda website indicates that the warranty is covered by the tire manufacturer, however, Dow Honda would not contact the Tire manufucturer on my behalf nor did they even know the company that manufactured my tires. On top of everything else they replaced the tire and wanted to charge me 160.00 dollars without even calling me to receive my consent to go ahead with the tire replacement. I asked how you expect a customer to purchase a brand new tire from them without knowing the company that manufactures their tires and they could not answer the question. I decided to buy two new tires at Canadian Tire as they replace any defects in their tires within the first 90 days. I will never go back to this dealer eventhough it is the closest proximity to my residence. I contacted the dealer where I purchased the car from and they advised me never to have my car serviced there since Dow HOnda will be closing their doors and they do not care about providing good customer service any longer. Update: I was contacted by Shane MCinnes by email last evening and I called him to advise him that I was displeased with the level of service and advised him that I have now been without a functioning car for a total of four days now due to a simple and common problem, a flat tire. He advised me that he would look into it and get back to me. Since I did not hear back from him at all today, and they still are in possession of my vehicle I called him in the afternoon for an update on my situation. He advised me that they would knock fourty dollars off the total quote of 160.00 that they previously quoted me for one tire replacement and said they were giving me the employee rate which I find very difficult to believe but fine I accepted his offer and advised him to go ahead with the work. Consequently, he advised me that they could not change the tire for me today as they were too busy and apparently it takes so long to change a tire and eventhough they were several hours away from closing. Not to mention that the possibility of a shuttle service with them is completely out of the question. Despite the fact that they have had my car now all week and ample oppurtunity all day to contact me. I asked him why he did not contact me until later in the day rather than earlier on so that his service department would have had lots of time to change a simple flat tire and he said he was busy trying to repair the damage of my customer complaint with Honda Canada. I replied by pointing out the obvious which is that the complaint originated from me , a displeased customer and the person that you should be trying to make it right with is me. The worst service ever. The first car I leased from DOW Honda the service was great. I decided to take their offer for upgrade and change my car for a 2012 Civic EX, What a mistake… I would recommend that Honda the service was great. The sale person new nothing about the car once you sign…. I was promised all kind of stuff which did not take place. When I picked up the car I was signing ...document and was actually told that I would know more about the rust proofing then him…. Dow Honda is so cheap that they do not even give you a key chain or a sleeve to put your documents in your car….. When the sale person installed my license plates on my new car he did not even wipe the dirt off the license. I was also told that he would put my pass code for my radio in the vehicle book and he did not do that, I told him I wanted to purchase a liner for the trunk of my car and he told me he would get back to me, he still did not. I left a message with him 3 days ago regarding my pass code and my liner and he still did not returned my call. If you are looking to purchase a car go somewhere else….. Today I have received a call From Shane McInnes Showing that the Dealer does want to make sure that clients are happy. I will be provided with a folder for my documents, my pass code for my radio and a liner for my trunk. More

This was the first car I've owned, and I plan on going back to DOW Honda in the future for my other car needs. Bob, my sales rep, was very helpful, and I was fortunate in that I could compare the quality back to DOW Honda in the future for my other car needs. Bob, my sales rep, was very helpful, and I was fortunate in that I could compare the quality of his guideance and service with the quality that my wife recently received when she bought her new car from a different dealer/company. The difference was night and day - Bob explained everything in fantastic detail, especially my financing options, and though he offered his advice on what he thought the best value for money was based on my needs, I never felt pressured. He didn't try to push a vehicle on me that wouldn't suit my needs, or suggest I upgrade to extras I wouldn't use. I would highly recommend DOW Honda for anyone's Honda needs, and I look forward to purchasing my next car there somewhere down the road (pun intended). More

Anil was very professional and helpful. He explained the different scenarios for financing the purchase of my new vehicle - a Honda Civic LX 2012. I was able to take advantage of the new features without having to refer to the user manual - so far. Anil made my purchase of a new car an enjoyable experience. More
My name is Chak. I would like to give two thumbs up to Dow Honda for a fantastic customer service rating. I originally bought the 2011 Honda Civic SE from Dow Honda but unfortunately I got into an ac Dow Honda for a fantastic customer service rating. I originally bought the 2011 Honda Civic SE from Dow Honda but unfortunately I got into an accident because some idiot on the road ran a red light and completely toasted my car. I was extremely upset. Luckily my insurance company claimed a total loss and credited me a replacement. I went back to Dow Honda right away to get a new car. When I went in August to the dealer, there was no more 2011 models around so I had to get the 2012 model (which I am very happy about). As soon as I settled the claim with my insurance company they gave me only two days to get a replacement. TWO days to get a replacement? The insurance company will stop paying for my rental after that point. I had to hurry because I had two jobs and having a car right away is absolutely critical. I went and talked to Kien Tu at Dow Honda and told him of my situation. He then went and talked to Dave Richardson (his manager) and they said the earliest they can get me a car is in two weeks because they was a huge waiting list for the 2012 models. I was a bit worried because two weeks of waiting is a lot that I have to pay for my rental car out of my own pocket. To my surprise. Kien Tu and Dave Richardson worked their magic and got me a car in only a week! I was extremely happy. When they told me the news that I will get it sooner rather than later, I yelled out "you guys are the best." I have been working in the hotel industry for many years; therefore, being the best in customer service is the cornerstone of any industry. Kien Tu was easy to talk to, he always smile, greeted me right away when I walked into the dealer, and worked hard to help me out. Dave Richardson was friendly and was very quick at getting the car I wanted. Amazing jobs guys. My 2012 Honda Civic EX right now is working very smoothy. I have no complaints about it. My friends and I love it. You guys deserve to be "Stars of the City." More
